The JKKNIU Moot Court Society invites enthusiastic and dedicated students of the Department of Law and Justice to audition for the BMU–BSIL 1st National Maritime Moot Court Competition 2026.

We are delighted to announce that Team JKKNIUMCS, consisting of Md. Hasibur Rahman, Waziha Islam Tithi, and Shakil Anwar, under the guidance of their coach Md. Assadullahil Galib, has secured a place among the Top 16 teams in the 4th Professor Dr. Khabir Uddin Ahmed National Moot Court Competition 2026.

Out of approximately 63 memorials submitted nationwide, only 16 teams advanced to the Oral Rounds following a rigorous evaluation process. The Oral Rounds are scheduled to be held on 5–6 June 2026.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the team and wish them every success as they represent the JKKNIU Moot Court Society on the national stage.

The First Executive Meeting of the "Executive Committee 2026" of JKKNIU Moot Court Society was successfully held today.

The meeting focused on strengthening regular activities through weekly sessions, enhancing English fluency and advocacy skills, and planning impactful initiatives including public speaking competitions, mock trials, workshops, and intra-department competitions. Discussions were also held regarding quality-based team formation for national and international moot court competitions, member recruitment, performance recognition, active participation, and the distribution of responsibilities among the Executive Members.

With new goals, shared responsibilities, and a united vision, we move forward towards excellence in mooting and advocacy In Sha Allah.

The viva voce will now commence at 2:15 PM instead of 2:30 PM on Monday at the Conference Room.
