On 9th May, Haileybury Bhaluka hosted an insightful Open Day at Le Mรฉridien Dhaka, bringing together distinguished academics, prospective parents, and future learners to explore the value of boarding education excellence and a globally recognised curriculum in Bangladesh.
The event was beautifully led by our students, Muhammad Yashhad Bin Sajed Rafan and Tahrima Musharrat Arufa, who shared their personal experiences of campus and boarding life at Haileybury Bhaluka. Through their inspiring stories, they reflected how a nurturing residential environment develops confidence, independence, leadership, and excellence among students โ shaping a brighter future for Bangladesh.
Headmaster Simon OโGrady shared his vision for delivering world-class boarding education in Bangladesh, highlighting the schoolโs commitment to academic excellence, character building, and holistic student development at Haileybury Bhaluka.
We were honoured by the presence of Prof. Dr. S.M.A. Faiz, Former Chairman of the University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh and Advisor of IconX Services Limited; Prof. Mohammad Kaykobad, esteemed former Professor of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at BUET and also an esteemed Member, Board of Governance, Haileybury Bhaluka.
We were also pleased to have Vivek Mukherjee deliver an informed presentation highlighting the curriculum and academic framework followed at Haileybury Bhaluka.
The event also welcomed a strong turnout of prospective parents, who engaged in meaningful conversations with our admissions team, sought detailed information about our programmes, and booked appointments to explore opportunities for their children.
