In a landmark development for education in Bangladesh, 𝐇𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐲𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐲 𝐁𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐤𝐚 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 (𝐍𝐏𝐐𝐇) — a globally respected leadership programme accredited by the Department for Education. This marks the first time structured, evidence-based headship training of this kind is being delivered in South Asia.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐏𝐐𝐇 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐍𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤, equipping current and aspiring headteachers with the strategic, ethical and organisational expertise needed to lead schools effectively. Spanning 18 months, the programme blends face-to-face sessions, online learning and coaching, focusing on school improvement, curriculum leadership, culture and operational excellence.

Headmaster Simon O’Grady described the launch as “a new dawn for empowering educators,” underscoring the school’s commitment not only to student excellence but also to strengthening leadership across Bangladesh’s education sector.
