২২ এপ্রিল বিশ্ব ধরিত্রী দিবস ২০২৬ উপলক্ষে CHOLO - Citizens for Humanity, Opportunity, Leadership and Outreach-এর সহযোগিতায় EduAid - Education Development Centre-এ একটি ব্যতিক্রমধর্মী ও সচেতনতামূলক কর্মসূচির আয়োজন করা হয়। এই আয়োজনে প্রতিষ্ঠানের শিক্ষার্থী ও শিক্ষকরা সক্রিয়ভাবে অংশগ্রহণ করেন এবং পৃথিবীর প্রতি নিজেদের দায়িত্ব সম্পর্কে নতুনভাবে ভাবার সুযোগ পান।

কর্মসূচির শুরুতে অংশগ্রহণকারীদের প্রত্যেককে একটি করে স্টিকি নোট দেওয়া হয়। সেখানে তারা লিখে নিজেদের ব্যক্তিগত অঙ্গীকার প্রকাশ করে -
“পৃথিবী রক্ষায় আমি কী করব” এবং “একটি সবুজ ভবিষ্যতের জন্য আমার প্রতিশ্রুতি”। পরবর্তীতে এসব স্টিকি নোট একত্রে একটি Promise Wall-এ সংযুক্ত করা হয়। ছোট ছোট এই অঙ্গীকারগুলো একসাথে একটি শক্তিশালী সামাজিক বার্তায় পরিণত হয়।

এরপর শিক্ষক ও শিক্ষার্থীরা হাতে সবুজ রঙ লাগিয়ে সাদা কাগজের উপর হাতের ছাপ দেন। প্রতীকী এই হাতের ছাপ যেন মনে করিয়ে দেয় -
“পৃথিবী রক্ষার দায়িত্ব আমাদের সবার হাতেই।”
প্রতিটি হাতের ছাপের পাশে পরিবেশ সুরক্ষায় করণীয় হিসেবে লেখা হয় কিছু গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বার্তা, যা পুরো আয়োজনকে আরও অর্থবহ করে তোলে।
এই আয়োজনটি শুধু একটি দিবস পালন ছিল না।
এটি ছিল শিক্ষার্থীদের মধ্যে দায়িত্ববোধ জাগিয়ে তোলার একটি বাস্তব শিক্ষা।

CHOLO এবং EduAid - Education Development Centre বিশ্বাস করে, একটি সুন্দর পৃথিবী গড়ার শিক্ষা ছোটবেলা থেকেই শুরু হওয়া উচিত। কারণ সচেতন প্রজন্মই পারে একটি নিরাপদ আগামী তৈরি করতে। বিশ্ব ধরিত্রী দিবসে আয়োজিত এই কর্মসূচি সেই বিশ্বাসকেই আরও দৃঢ়ভাবে সামনে নিয়ে এসেছে।

​আজ ২২শে এপ্রিল, বিশ্ব ধরিত্রী দিবস। আমাদের এই সুন্দর পৃথিবী নানা প্রতিকূলতার সম্মুখীন। জলবায়ু পরিবর্তন থেকে শুরু করে পরিবেশ দূষণ; সবকিছু মোকাবিলায় এখন প্রয়োজন সম্মিলিত প্রচেষ্টা এবং বলিষ্ঠ নেতৃত্ব।

​CHOLO বিশ্বাস করে, প্রতিটি নাগরিকের ছোট ছোট উদ্যোগই পারে বড় পরিবর্তন আনতে। ধরিত্রী রক্ষায় আজ আমরা কি শপথ নিতে পারি?
✅ প্লাস্টিকের ব্যবহার কমিয়ে আনা।
✅ বেশি করে গাছ লাগানো।
✅ সম্পদের বিশেষ করে বিদ্যুৎ এবং পানির অপচয় রোধ করা।

​আসুন, আগামীর প্রজন্মের জন্য একটি সবুজ ও নিরাপদ পৃথিবী গড়ে তুলি। কারণ আমাদের শক্তিই পারে আমাদের ধরিত্রীকে বাঁচাতে।

A Meaningful Evening Before a New Journey

On 19 April 2026, EduAid Education Development Center and CHOLO Citizens for Humanity Opportunity Leadership and Outreach organized a special Farewell and Parent Interaction Program for the SSC Examination 2026 batch.

The evening was a warm gathering of students, parents, teachers, and directors. Everyone came together with one purpose, to support and encourage the students before one of the most important examinations of their academic life.

We were honoured to have Mr. Mosharraf Hossain, Managing Director of EduAid Education Development Center, as the Chief Guest. He shared sincere and inspiring words, reminding students to believe in themselves and stay confident in their preparation.

As a small gesture of care and appreciation, each student received a gift. It carried a simple but powerful message: you are supported, and you are valued.

A meaningful part of the program was the video messages shared online by respected professionals working in higher education and professional fields. Among them were Md. Mehedi Hasan Sohag, Assistant Professor of Genetics and Biotechnology at Jagannath University, Dhaka, currently pursuing his PhD at Baylor University, and Engineer A. S. M. Taufiq Imam, Senior Manager (Business and Planning) Rangs Electronics Bangladesh. They shared guidance, encouragement, and heartfelt wishes for the students’ success.

We sincerely wish all our SSC 2026 students the very best for their upcoming examination. May their hard work open the door to a better future and bring them the success they truly deserve.

On 12 April, 2026, Sakil Imran Nirjhor, Director (Planning & Development) of EduAid Education Development Centre and Co-Founder & Executive Director of CHOLO – Citizens for Humanity Opportunity Leadership and Outreach, engaged in a short yet impactful interactive session with secondary-level students of EduAid - Education Development Centre .
During the session, he exchanged introductions with the students and shared practical insights on overcoming the fear of studying, along with simple tips, effective learning techniques, and motivational guidance. The discussion created a positive space for students to reflect, ask questions, and build confidence in their academic journey.

Storytelling transforms classrooms into spaces of connection, curiosity, and deeper understanding.

On 11 April 2026, Sakil Imran Nirjhor, Co-founder and Executive Director of CHOLO – Citizens for Humanity, Opportunity, Leadership & Outreach, led a full-day capacity building session on Safeguarding, Child Protection, and Inclusion in the Classroom for the youth and newly recruited teachers and staff of EduAid – Education Development Centre.

18 young educators participated, gaining practical insights on creating safe, inclusive, and child-centered learning environments.

A meaningful step towards building responsible educators and safer classrooms.
