Farewell Program for Faculty Member Ms. Anika Alam
Dhaka School of Economics (DScE) organized a farewell program in honour of Ms. Anika Alam, a valued faculty member of the Department of Entrepreneurship Economics, to mark the successful completion of her tenure at the institution and to extend heartfelt wishes for her next professional journey.
Ms. Anika Alam is embarking on a new chapter in her career by joining Trust Bank PLC. Her transition to the banking sector reflects her courage to embrace new challenges, explore new opportunities, and pursue continued professional growth. While her departure marks the end of her tenure at DScE, it also marks the beginning of an exciting and promising new chapter in her career.
During her time at DScE, Ms. Alam earned the respect and affection of her colleagues through her sincerity, professionalism, dedication, kindness, and genuine concern for others. She was not only a committed faculty member but also a supportive colleague and a warm presence within the DScE family. Her willingness to cooperate, listen, help others, and contribute beyond her formal responsibilities made her a valued member of the institution.
What made Ms. Alam particularly special was her way of thinking and her ability to understand and care for people. She had a remarkable ability to make those around her feel heard, respected, included, and valued. Her thoughtful nature, humility, and considerate attitude created a positive and welcoming environment among her colleagues. These qualities, which go beyond professional achievements, are among the things for which she will be most fondly remembered.
Her colleagues expressed their appreciation for the meaningful memories shared with her and for the positive energy, warmth, and sincerity she brought to the workplace. Her contribution to the Department of Entrepreneurship Economics and her association with the wider DScE community will be remembered with genuine appreciation. Her absence will certainly be felt, not only because of the work she contributed, but because of the person she was to those around her.
