✨ Alhamdulillah✨

The IIUC HR Club is proud to announce the successful completion of the Industry Tour 2026, held on June 11, 2026, at AZIM Garments Ltd.— a leading export-oriented readymade garments manufacturer — for the students of the 7th Semester.

The tour was designed to provide students with practical exposure and firsthand industrial experience beyond the classroom. Students had the opportunity to witness live production operations, interact with industry professionals, and observe HR and management practices in action. Such experiences play a significant role in bridging the gap between academic learning and professional application.

We were deeply honored by the presence of Prof. Dr. Nazamul Hoque, Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies, IIUC, is a distinguished guest of the program. We were equally privileged to have Prof. Mustafa Manir Chowdhury, Proctor of IIUC, and Prof. Dr. Abdullahil Mamun, Chairman of the Department of Business Administration, accompanied us throughout this educational visit.

We were also delighted to have our respected faculty members — Abdullah Ahsan Mamun, Mahmudul Islam, and Dr. Abul Kalam Azad— with us. Their guidance, encouragement, and support greatly enriched this learning experience, inspiring our students to connect theoretical knowledge with industry practices. The overall coordination of the tour was efficiently managed by Mohammad Zahid Hossain Bhuiyan, whose leadership and commitment contributed significantly to the smooth ex*****on of the program.

A special note of gratitude goes to Mr. Anup Baran Das, Director of Azim Group, for his warm hospitality and generous cooperation in making this visit both insightful and memorable.

Finally, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to all the members of the IIUC HR Club,for their dedication, teamwork, and tireless efforts in making this program a remarkable success. Initiatives like these empower students with practical insights, broaden their professional perspectives, and prepare them to become competent leaders of tomorrow.

The IIUC HR Club extends its heartfelt congratulations to Prof. Dr. Nazamul Hoque on his appointment as Dean, Faculty of Business Administration, and to Prof. Dr. Abdullahil Mamun on his appointment as Chairman, Department of BBA at International Islamic University Chittagong (IIUC).

We are delighted to witness these well-deserved appointments and are confident that their visionary leadership, academic excellence, and unwavering commitment will contribute significantly to the continued growth and success of the Faculty and Department.

Their dedication to education, research, and student development has long been a source of inspiration for both students and colleagues. We believe that under their guidance, the Faculty of Business Administration and the Department of BBA will achieve new milestones of excellence.

A professional seminar titled “Employability Skills: Industry Needs” was successfully organized by the Department of Business Administration, International Islamic University Chattogram (IIUC), with full support and coverage from the IIUC HR CLUB.

The event was held on 6th May 2026 at Hotel Agrabad, where students gained valuable knowledge about the essential skills, industry expectations, and professional competencies required to succeed in today’s competitive job market. The seminar created a strong platform for learning, interaction, and career development insights.

We were honored to have distinguished guests whose presence made the event more meaningful:

The Industry Tour 2026, organised by IIUC HR Club, was successfully completed at BSRM Steel Mills Ltd., Jorargong, Mirsarai.

We were honoured to have Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nazim Uddin, Chairman of the Finance Department, as the respected guest of the program. The overall coordination of the tour was managed by Mohammad Zahid Hossain Bhuiyan Sir, Governing Body Member of IIUC HR Club.

We were also happy to have our respected faculty members with us — Mohammed Rakibul Hasan, Dr. Abul Kalam Azad, and Dr. Moin Uddin. Their guidance, support, and presence made the program more meaningful and successful.

This industrial tour helped students learn about real industrial work, management systems, and professional working environments outside the classroom.
