A memorable day for IIUC HR Club as we successfully hosted our Handover & Takeover Ceremony.

The programme was a wonderful gathering of our respected faculty members, distinguished guests, outgoing and incoming team members, and the entire HR Club family.

The IIUC HR Club proudly organized its 3rd Industry Tour, successfully held at Chittagong Stock Exchange PLC. for the students of the Department of Business Administration, International Islamic University Chittagong (IIUC).

This educational visit was organized with the objective of bridging the gap between academic learning and practical application by providing students with firsthand exposure to Bangladesh's capital market and corporate environment. The tour enabled participants to gain valuable insights into the operations of the stock exchange, corporate governance, human resource management, and the significant role of the capital market in the country's economic development.

We were privileged to have Ms. Sonia Hossain, DGM & Head of HR, Chittagong Stock Exchange PLC, as the Resource Person for the program. Her insightful session, practical experiences, and professional guidance provided students with a comprehensive understanding of contemporary HR practices and the functioning of the capital market.

Our sincere gratitude goes to Mr. Arif Ahmed, FCGA, AGM, Chittagong Stock Exchange PLC, whose invaluable support, coordination, and wholehearted cooperation were instrumental in the successful ex*****on of this educational visit.

We are equally grateful to our respected faculty member, Mr. Mahmudul Islam, Assistant Professor, Department of Business Administration, IIUC, who served as the Formal Guardian throughout the tour. His guidance, supervision, and continuous encouragement greatly enhanced the overall learning experience of our students.

Finally, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to every member of the IIUC HR Club for their dedication, teamwork, and commitment in successfully organizing this program. Their collective efforts reflect the Club's mission of creating meaningful opportunities that connect classroom learning with real-world professional practice.

We are pleased to share that the gifts from AZIM Group have been officially handed over following the successful Industry Visit organized by the IIUC HR Club on 11 June 2026.

During the visit, AZIM GROUP warmly welcomed our students and provided excellent hospitality, making the experience both enjoyable and educational. As a special gesture, the company gifted a shirt to every student who participated in the visit.

In addition, AZIM Group also sent special gifts for our Honorable Vice Chancellor and Pro Vice Chancellor as a token of respect and appreciation.

The IIUC HR Club is proud to announce the successful completion of the Industry Tour 2026, held on June 11, 2026, at AZIM Garments Ltd.— a leading export-oriented readymade garments manufacturer — for the students of the 7th Semester.

The tour was designed to provide students with practical exposure and firsthand industrial experience beyond the classroom. Students had the opportunity to witness live production operations, interact with industry professionals, and observe HR and management practices in action. Such experiences play a significant role in bridging the gap between academic learning and professional application.

We were deeply honored by the presence of Prof. Dr. Nazamul Hoque, Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies, IIUC, is a distinguished guest of the program. We were equally privileged to have Prof. Mustafa Manir Chowdhury, Proctor of IIUC, and Prof. Dr. Abdullahil Mamun, Chairman of the Department of Business Administration, accompanied us throughout this educational visit.

We were also delighted to have our respected faculty members — Abdullah Ahsan Mamun, Mahmudul Islam, and Dr. Abul Kalam Azad— with us. Their guidance, encouragement, and support greatly enriched this learning experience, inspiring our students to connect theoretical knowledge with industry practices. The overall coordination of the tour was efficiently managed by Mohammad Zahid Hossain Bhuiyan, whose leadership and commitment contributed significantly to the smooth ex*****on of the program.
