Alhamdulillah ! 🙌 Excited to share that our project for the Inland RO-PAX Abhay Express ship design is officially complete! We’ve successfully finalized the design and created a detailed 3D model. A huge team effort, and I couldn’t be more proud of the hard work and dedication that went into this project. Looking forward to the next steps ahead! 🚢💡 -PAX

We are proud to announce that Team MIST Abhayjatra from the NAME Department, Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST), has been awarded a prestigious certificate by the World Ferry Safety Association (WFSA) for our participation in the Ferry Design Competition 2026.
Representing Bangladesh and our esteemed institution MIST, our team showcased innovation, technical expertise, and dedication in designing a sustainable and efficient ferry concept. This recognition highlights our commitment to advancing marine technology and contributing to global safety standards in ferry design.
The competition brought together talented teams from across the world, and receiving this honor from WFSA,USA is a testament to the hard work, creativity, and teamwork of our members. It is a proud moment for us as we carry the flag of Bangladesh and demonstrate the excellence of MIST on an international stage.
🎉 Congratulations to our dedicated team members — Miraz, Araf, Mahir, and Emon — for their outstanding efforts.
We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to our faculty advisor, Emam Hossen Emon, whose guidance and mentorship were invaluable throughout this journey.
A special thanks goes to our Head of Department, Cdre Md Mohidul Hasan sir, and Associate Professor S M Ikhtiar Mahmud sir, for their constant support, encouragement, and leadership that inspired us to achieve this milestone.
