📚 Present Indefinite Tense তো আমরা শিখেছি। আজ আমরা শিখব Past Indefinite Tense! 🎉

অতীতের সাধারণ কোনো কাজ বা অভ্যাসের কথা বলতে আমরা এই tense ব্যবহার করি। এই tense-এর গঠন কেমন হয় আর কোথায় কোথায় এর ব্যবহার করা হয়, তা জানতে এই ইনফোগ্রাফিকটি দেখুন।

1️⃣ ভেতরে / মধ্যে (Place)
Rule: কোনো কিছুর ভিতরে অবস্থান বোঝাতে
Example: The keys are in the drawer.
👉 চাবিগুলো ড্রয়ারের ভেতরে আছে।

2️⃣ শহর, দেশ, বড় এলাকা (City / Country / Continent)
Rule: শহর, দেশ, মহাদেশের আগে
Example: She lives in Canada.
👉 সে কানাডায় থাকে।

3️⃣ সময় (Month / Year / Century / Season)
Rule: বড় সময়কাল বা দীর্ঘ সময় বোঝাতে
Example: We met in July.
👉 আমরা জুলাই মাসে দেখা করেছি।

4️⃣ ভবিষ্যৎ সময় (After a period)
Rule: কতক্ষণ পরে কিছু হবে বোঝাতে
Example: He will arrive in 10 minutes.

5️⃣ অবস্থা / পরিস্থিতি (State / Condition)
Rule: কোনো অবস্থা বোঝাতে

6️⃣ মানসিক অবস্থা / অনুভূতি (Feeling / Emotion)
Rule: অনুভূতি বা মানসিক অবস্থা বোঝাতে

7️⃣ পোশাক / বাহ্যিক অবস্থা (Dress / Appearance)
Rule: কেউ কী পরেছে বা কেমন অবস্থায় আছে বোঝাতে

8️⃣ ভাষা (Language)
Rule: কোন ভাষায় কিছু করা হচ্ছে বোঝাতে

Rule: বিশ্বাস বা আগ্রহ বোঝাতে
Example: I believe in honesty.
👉 আমি সততায় বিশ্বাস করি।

1️⃣3️⃣ বয়স / জীবনের ধাপ (Age / Stage)
Rule: বয়স বা জীবনধাপ বোঝাতে
Example: He is in his twenties.
👉 সে কুড়ি বছর বয়সে আছে।

Rule: সীমার মধ্যে বা পরিসীমা বোঝাতে
Example: The temperature is in the range of 20–25°C.

Rule: কিছু কিসের তৈরি বোঝাতে

Rule: কোনো জায়গার অবস্থান বোঝাতে

1️⃣8️⃣ তুলনা / শ্রেণির মধ্যে (Comparison / Class)
Rule: শ্রেণি বা গ্রুপের মধ্যে
Example: She is the best student in the class.

1️⃣9️⃣ Verb + IN (Common Patterns)
Rule: কিছু বিশেষ ক্রিয়ার সাথে in ব্যবহার হয়
Examples:
succeed in — সফল হওয়া
→ He succeeded in his exam.

involve in — জড়িত থাকা
→ She is involved in politics.

result in — ফলস্বরূপ হওয়া
→ Carelessness resulted in an accident.

Rule: কিছু idioms বা fixed phrases
Examples:
in fact — আসলে
→ In fact, he is very kind.

in short — সংক্ষেপে
→ In short, it was a great day.

in vain — বৃথা
→ He tried in vain to open the door.

in progress — চলমান
→ The work is in progress.

👉 A sentence is a set or group of words that makes complete sense.

📍Example:

> I am reading a book.

🗣️ So, every correct sentence must express a complete idea.

There are five main structures we can use to make a simple sentence 👇

1️⃣ Subject ➕ Verb
💬 Example: My arms are aching.
🧩 (My arms = Subject, are aching = Verb)

2️⃣ Subject ➕ Verb ➕ Object
💬 Example: Five people are moving the piano.
🧩 (Five people = Subject, are moving = Verb, the piano = Object)

✍️ Sentence: Your prediction is not true.
👉 তোমার ভবিষ্যদ্বাণীটি সত্য নয়।

📘 Word: Predict (Verb)
➡️ Meaning: ভবিষ্যদ্বাণী করা / পূর্বাভাস দেওয়া
✍️ Sentence: It is impossible to predict what will happen.
👉 কী ঘটবে তা পূর্বাভাস দেওয়া অসম্ভব।

📘 Word: Predictable (Adjective)
➡️ Meaning: অনুমানযোগ্য / পূর্বাভাসমূলক
