💔 In times of sorrow, we do not collapse. We hold each other and rise again. In prayer and in presence—we find our strength.🙏

A training aircraft has crashed into the grounds of Milestone College in Dhaka. Countless children have lost their lives. The exact number of casualties remains unknown, but it is feared to be in the hundreds. Many more have been severely injured, their bodies burned by flames. Some classrooms were engulfed entirely, leaving children charred beyond recognition. It is an unbelievable, unimaginable tragedy.

So what must we do now?

First: Do not lose heart. This is life. One moment you are here, the next you are not. One moment something is yours, the next moment it’s gone. This is how life goes. We must carry on. So please, do not collapse.

Second: Pray for them. At least two rakats of salah. Pray to Allah for those we lost, and for those who survived. Pray for everyone. Your prayers will be heard.

Third: Do not let the children live in fear. Even if they’ve seen it happen, speak to them gently, calmly. Do not weep loudly or frighten them with your own fears. Encourage them to pray instead.

And if you can, stand by them. With your blood, if needed—or in any other way. If you are able.

Let’s all look after each other. Let’s pray for one another.

Today, the girl came to the afternoon spoken English class wearing her school uniform. She might be in class seven or eight or nine. She was walking towards the class, greeted me, I asked her, are you hungry or not? She paused for a moment. I understood that she was hungry. Then she said, no, sir, not hungry. I said, a little? She said, a little. I said, okay, go to class.

A ma'am was working on the computer in the teachers' room. I told her to put a little rice on a plate and give it to the girl with a spoon.

The class was going on. In the meantime, the rice arrived and was handed to the girl. Rice with shrimp and fish in a potal broth. While taking the rice, the girl looked at the rice. Then she took the plate and sat down. The class was going on. I told the girl to eat and the class continued. After a long time, I asked the girl to eat again. This time I said it a little louder. Then I came back after the class and they all went outside to the courtyard to practice their speech on the loudspeaker for the next class session.

After they had left, I saw the rice lying there for a long time. The girl had not touched a single rice.

Now the question is: What did the girl do — did she do a good job or a bad job?

Sorry. I cannot comment on this. She took the rice and then left it there without telling anyone — I may find her act bad. But why did the girl do this — do I know that? Do you know? Then how can I tell whether the girl did a good job or a bad job?

People do so many things in so many situations, say so many things, and have to do so many things to survive in life — how many different reasons do you take someone to court and hang them — is that possible?

It is a great injustice to comment on someone without knowing them. Sometimes that injustice can kill someone or kill them slowly. Never make any comments about someone without knowing or understanding them.

সাতজন অভিভাবক শিক্ষার্থীকে নিয়ে আজ শনিবার সকাল ১০টায় BTH স্কুল প্রাঙ্গণে অনুষ্ঠিত হলো বিটিএইচ ইএলপি ফর গার্ডিয়ানস ২০২৫ এর প্রথম ক্লাস।

বিটিএইচ ইএলপি ফর গার্ডিয়ানস ২০২৫ অভিভাবক বাবা–মায়েদের জন্য ইংরেজি শিক্ষার একটি বিশেষ প্রোগ্রাম। এই প্রোগ্রামের মাধ্যমে অংশগ্রহণকারী অভিভাবকেরা ইংরেজি কথা বলা, রিডিং পড়া, নিউজ রিডিং, বক্তৃতা ইত্যাদি বিষয় বিশদভাবে রপ্ত করবেন।

এই কোর্স সম্পূর্ণভাবে ব্রাদার টিটো’স হোম স্কুলের সৌজন্যে পরিচালিত। বছরজুড়ে স্কুলের অভিভাবকদের জন্য পরিচালিত অসংখ্য কর্মকাণ্ডের মধ্যে অভিভাবকদের ইংরেজি চর্চার সুযোগ করে দেওয়া অন্যতম। এ ধরণের কার্যক্রমের মধ্য দিয়ে অভিভাবক এবং শিক্ষকদের মধ্যে সঠিক এবং সমন্বিত জ্ঞানচর্চা করা সম্ভব হয় এবং এর মাধ্যমে তাদের পরিবার তথা স্কুলের শিক্ষার্থীরা সর্বোচ্চ লাভবান হতে পারে।

এই ব্যাচে আসন সংখ্যা ত্রিশটি। এর মধ্যে এই পর্যন্ত ১৯ জন নাম নিবন্ধন করেছেন। এবং আজ সাত জনকে নিয়ে ক্লাস শুরু হলো। আমরা তাদের সর্বোচ্চ সাফল্য কামনা করি।

আজ শনিবার ২৫ জানুয়ারি ২০২৫। আজ থেকে আরম্ভ হচ্ছে BTH অভিভাবকদের ইংরেজি ভাষা শেখার বিশেষ কোর্স আজ সকাল দশটায় যশোর লালদিঘি পাড়স্থ বিটিএইচ স্কুল প্রাঙ্গণে এই কার্যক্রমের প্রথম ক্লাস অনুষ্ঠিত হতে যাচ্ছে। অংশগ্রহণকারী সকলের জন্য রইলো অসংখ্য শুভকামনা। এই ক্লাসে আপনারা ইংরেজি বলা, সাধারণ রিডিং, নিউজ রিডিং, বক্তৃতা, গল্প বলা, উচ্চারণ, ভঙ্গি ইত্যাদি বিষয় শিক্ষা করবেন। আল্লাহ আপনাদের সফল করুন।
