The Institute of Teacher Competency and Excellence (ITCE), Dhaka, Bangladesh, is actively strengthening its international collaborations. In partnership with Queen’s University, Kingston, Canada, alongside organizations such as the British Council and the University Grants Commission (UGC), ITCE is advancing transnational education initiatives that aim to elevate teaching standards and academic innovation in Bangladesh.

Under the Education Excellence Support Scheme (EESS) of the Ministry of Education, United Public School and College, Jamalpur (UPSC,J) has proudly secured 𝑭𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝑷𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 at both the Upazila and 𝑫𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒊𝒄𝒕 𝒍𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒍𝒔 in the Startup, Science Project and Innovation Competition 2026, earning the honor to compete at the 𝑵𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒈𝒆.

In this prestigious competition, the 𝑺𝒄𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑰𝒏𝒏𝒐𝒗𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑪𝒍𝒖𝒃 𝒐𝒇 𝑼𝑷𝑺𝑪, 𝑱 presented an outstanding project titled “𝑩𝒐𝒓𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝑺𝒆𝒄𝒖𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒚”. The team was guided and led by the club’s convener Md. Ahsan Ullah and Ashraf Mahmud Shihab Sir.

▶️ At the Upazila level, prizes were distributed among the winners by Mr. Wares Ali Mamun, Honorable Member of Parliament, Jamalpur-5.
▶️ At the District level, awards were handed over by *Mr. Mohammad Yusup Ali*, Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate of Jamalpur.

শিক্ষা মন্ত্রণালয়ের অধীনে Education Excellence Support Scheme (EESS) এর আওতায় আয়োজিত Startup, Science Project and Innovation Competition-2026 এ ইউনাইটেড পাবলিক স্কুল অ্যান্ড কলেজ, জামালপুর (UPSC,J) উপজেলা এবং জেলা পর্যায়ে প্রথম স্থান অর্জন করে জাতীয় পর্যায়ে অংশগ্রহণের যোগ্যতা অর্জন করেছে।
উক্ত প্রতিযোগিতায় UPSC,J-এর Science and Innovation Club এর একটি দক্ষ দল “Border Security” শীর্ষক একটি উদ্ভাবনী প্রকল্প উপস্থাপন করে। দলের তত্ত্বাবধানে ও নেতৃত্বে ছিলেন ক্লাবের কনভেনার মোঃ আহসান উল্লাহ এবং আশরাফ মাহমুদ শিহাব স্যার।

উপজেলা পর্যায়ে প্রতিযোগিতা শেষে বিজয়ী শিক্ষার্থী ও শিক্ষকদের মাঝে পুরস্কার বিতরণ করেন জনাব ওয়ারেস আলী মামুন মহোদয়, মাননীয় সংসদ সদস্য জামালপুর-৫। এবং জেলা পর্যায়ে প্রতিযোগিতা শেষে বিজয়ী শিক্ষার্থী ও শিক্ষকদের মাঝে পুরস্কার বিতরণ করেন জনাব মোহাম্মদ ইউসুপ আলী, জেলা প্রশাসক ও জেলা ম্যাজিস্ট্রেট জামালপুর।

এই অর্জনের সাথে সংশ্লিষ্ট সকল শিক্ষক, শিক্ষার্থী, অভিভাবক এবং প্রতিষ্ঠানের শুভানুধ্যায়ীদের আন্তরিক অভিনন্দন ও শুভেচ্ছা।

Brazil vs. Argentina on the Debate Stage, While the Gallery Echoed with World Cup Fever!

In celebration of the FIFA World Cup 2026, the UPSC J Debating Club hosted a humorous debate competition in a lively and festive atmosphere. The event combined football passion, sharp wit, and strong arguments, creating a memorable experience for everyone present.

In the spirit of sportsmanship, mutual respect, and healthy competition, both teams were declared Joint Champions.

As a special recognition for outstanding performance, Fardin Mondol, Captain of Team Brazil, received the title of Best Speaker for his sharp arguments, confident presentation, and excellent speaking skills.

Football is more than a measure of winning and losing; it represents passion, friendship, unity, and respect for different viewpoints. This event effectively conveyed these lasting values through the art of debate.

বিশেষ স্বীকৃতি হিসেবে টিম ব্রাজিলের ক্যাপ্টেন ফারদিন মন্ডল পান সেরা বক্তা উপাধি—তাঁর তীক্ষ্ণ যুক্তি, আত্মবিশ্বাসী উপস্থাপনা এবং অসাধারণ বক্তৃতা দক্ষতার জন্য।
