Brief introduction
Alhaj Md. Somir Ali. Father is deceased Shamsar Ali.Mother name is Jariful Nesha. was born on August 12, 1969 in Nadampur village of Jagannathpur upazila of Sunamganj district. His mother Jariful Nesha died at the age of 15. After the death of his mother he moved to Nanabari Majidpur. Her father lived in England. His father took his children to England, thinking of a better life for their children. They now live in Birmingham, England. He started working in England as an adult. He built a luxurious house in Majidpur village with his income. Basat bought a lot of land next to his house. Become the owner of many assets in a very short time at a young age. He thinks every man is mortal and he will taste death one day. In the Hereafter, all the deeds of this world will be accountable to Allah. He started doing many good deeds out of fear of Allah. He built an orphanage on his own land in the name of his dead father. (Majidpur Samasar Ali Hafizia Madrasa and Orphanage). He has built a huge market and community center with 40 rooms next to the orphanage. He has done fish fishery in the remaining places. Thinking about the future of the orphanage, he donated community centers, markets and 5 fisheries in the name of the orphanage. Although he lives in England, his mind is on his native Bangladesh.
In order to love and serve the people of the area, the chairman of Kalkalia Union has been elected as a candidate. He did a lot of business in Bangladesh (did garments business) but could not succeed due to some dishonest people. Lost millions of rupees. He donated his house in his native village Nadampur in the name of his relatives. Hearing that the helpless people in his area did not have winter clothes, he immediately left for Bangladesh and distributed thousands of blankets in Nadampur and Majidpur villages by helicopter. He is one of the members of Jagannathpur British Bangla Education Trust. He lovingly donated 20 lakh rupees of land inside Jagannathpur Municipality to this organization.
He is one of the founding members of Shahjalal College. He has spent 5 lakh rupees in the village of Majidpur. Every Ramadan in his area, he gives food items to poor families.
In the deadly coronavirus, when there was a shortage of food in a poor family in his area, he twice gave food to two hundred families. He said he will continue to work for the welfare of the people as long as he lives. We pray to Allah Almighty to grant him Tawfiq and to do many good deeds. (Amen)

আলহাজ্ব মোঃ ছমির আলি। পিতা মৃত শমসর আলী। মাতা মৃত জরিফুল নেছা।জন্মগ্রহণ করেন 12 আগস্টঃ1969 সালে সুনামগঞ্জ জেলার জগন্নাথপুর উপজেলার নাদামপুর গ্রামে।তার 15 বয়সে মা জরিফুল নেছা মারা যান।মা মারা যাওয়ার পর পার্শ্ববর্তী গ্রাম নানাবাড়ি মজিদপুরে চলে আসেন। ।তার বাবা ইংল্যান্ডে বসবাস করতেন। তার বাবা ছেলে-মেয়েদের উন্নত জীবনযাপনের কথা চিন্তা করে ছেলেমেয়েদেরকে ইংল্যান্ডে নিয়ে যান।তারা বর্তমানে বসবাস করেন ইংল্যান্ডের বার্মিংহাম শহরে।তিনি প্রাপ্ত বয়স্ক হয়ে ইংল্যান্ডে কাজ শুরু করেন। ইনকামের টাকা দিয়ে মজিদপুর গ্রামে একটি বিলাসবহুল বসতবাড়ি তৈরি করেন। বসত বাড়ির পাশে অনেক জায়গা জমি ক্রয় করেন। অল্প বয়সে খুবই কম সময়ে হয়ে যান অনেক সম্পদের মালিক। তিনি মনে করেন প্রত্যেক মানুষ মরণশীল এবং তিনি একদিন মৃত্যুর স্বাদ গ্রহণ করবেন। আখেরাতে আল্লাহর কাছে দুনিয়ার সব কাজের হিসাব দিতে হবে। আল্লাহর ভয়ে শুরু করেন অনেক ভালো কাজ। নিজস্ব জমিতে মৃত বাবার নামে করেন একটি এতিমখানা। (মজিদপুর সমসর অালী হাফিজিয়া মাদ্রাসা ও এতিমখানা)। এতিমখানার পাশে করেছেন 40 রুমের বিশাল একটি মার্কেট ও কমিউনিটি সেন্টার ।অবশিষ্ট জায়গাতে করেছেন মাছের ফিশারি । তিনি এতিমখানার ভবিষ্যতের কথা চিন্তা করে কমিউনিটি সেন্টার, মাকেট,ও ৫টি ফিসারী দান করেছেন এতিমখানার নামে।যদিও তিনি বাস করেন ইংল্যান্ডে কিন্তু তার মন পড়ে থাকে জন্মভূমি বাংলাদেশে।
এলাকার মানুষের ভালোবাসায় ও সেবা করার জন্য কলকলিয়া ইউনিয়নে চেয়ারম্যান প্রাথী হয়ে করেছেন নির্বাচন। তিনি বাংলাদেশ অনেক ব্যাবসা বানিজ্য করেছেন (গার্মেন্টস ব্যবসা করেছিলেন)কিন্তু কিছু অসাধু লোকের কারণে সফল হতে পারেননি। হারিয়েছেন লক্ষ লক্ষ টাকা। তিনি জন্মভূমি নাদামপুর গ্রামে নিজ বসতবাড়ী দান করেছেন নিজের আত্মীয়স্বজনদের নামে।নিজ এলাকার অসহায় মানুষের শীতের পোষাক নাই শুনে সাথে সাথে চলে আসেন বাংলাদেশ এসে হেলিকপ্টার করে নাদামপুর ও মজিদপুর গ্রামে বিতরণ করেন কয়েক হাজার কম্বল। তিনি জগন্নাথপুর বৃটিশ বাংলা এডুকেশন টাষ্ট্রের অন্যতম সদস্য। তিনি এই সংগঠন কে ভালোবেসে দান করেছেন জগন্নাথপুর পৌরসভার ভিতরে থাকা বিশ লক্ষ টাকা জমি।
তিনি শাহজালাল কলেজের অন্যতম প্রতিষ্ঠাতা সদস্য । মজিদপুর গ্রামে ৫ লক্ষ টাকা ব্যয় করে করেছেন কবর স্থান। নিজ এলাকায় প্রতি রমজান মাসে দরিদ্র পরিবারে দেন খাদ্য সামগ্রী।
প্রাণঘাতী করোনাভাইরাসে নিজ এলকার দরিদ্র পরিবারে যখন খাদ্যের অভাব দেখা দিয়েছে তখন তিনি দুইবারে দুইশত পরিবারে খাদ্য সামগ্রী দিয়েছেন। তিনি বলেছেন যতদিন বেচে থাকবেন মানুষের কল্যাণে কাজ করে যাবেন। অামরা দোয়া করি মহান আল্লাহ যেন ওনাকে তৌফিক দেন অার অনেক ভালো কাজ করার জন্য।(অামিন)
