Dashuria Mokarram Memorial High School, widely recognized as Dashuria M.M. High School, is one of the most renowned schools in the Pabna District, Bangladesh. Established in 1950, it stands as a testament to the region's dedication to education and carries a legacy steeped in history and sentiment. The schoolâs origin is deeply tied to the compassionate vision of Moulvi Emdad Ali, a prominent figure hailing from Bauphal, Barishal, who served as a district magistrate in Pabna. Enchanted by the tranquil charm of Dashuria, he frequently visited the area with his cherished son, Mokarram. Sadly, Mokarramâs life was cut short at a young age. Stricken by grief yet driven by a profound sense of purpose, Moulvi Emdad Ali resolved to honor his sonâs memory by founding an institution that would illuminate the minds of the region's youth. With the support of local philanthropists, he established the school, which has since become a beacon of knowledge and progress.

Situated approximately 21 kilometers west of Pabna and 8 kilometers east of Ishwardi, the school is strategically located along the Dhaka-Pabna highway. Despite its accessibility, it retains a serene, academic ambiance, harmonized with the natural beauty of Dashuria. The area is enriched by its proximity to a branch of the Padma River, further adding to the schoolâs picturesque setting. Dashuria also holds historical importance, as it was home to an indigo factory established during the British colonial era, highlighting its cultural and historical depth.
