Just having advanced and expensive equipment does not guarantee accurate laboratory reports. 🧪⚠️

👉 A machine can only do what it’s programmed to do — but it’s the trained and skilled technologist who ensures the accuracy of the results.
👉 Proper sample handling, correct procedure, regular calibration, quality control, and critical review of results depend on human expertise, not the machine alone.
👉 Even the best analyzer is useless without the “man behind the machine.” 👨‍🔬👩‍🔬

⭐ Urea Test– শুধু কিডনির রিপোর্ট নয়!

অনেকে ভাবে urea বাড়লেই কিডনি নষ্ট —
আসলে urea অনেক কারণে বাড়তে বা কমতে পারে।

🔺 কিডনি ছাড়াও Urea বাড়ার কারণ

1️⃣ বেশি প্রোটিন খাওয়া
অনেক প্রোটিন খেলে শরীর সেটা ভেঙে urea তৈরি করে।
তাই শুধু diet-এর কারণেই urea বাড়তে পারে।

2️⃣ পেটের ভেতরে রক্তপাত (GI bleed)
রক্ত হজম হলে শরীরে একধরনের “extra protein” আসে → এতে urea খুব বেড়ে যায়।

3️⃣ শরীরের টিস্যু ভাঙা (catabolic state)
জ্বর, সেপসিস, দুর্ঘটনা, স্টেরয়েড— এসব অবস্থায় শরীর নিজের পেশি ভাঙে → urea বাড়ে।

👉 তাই urea ↑ মানেই কিডনি খারাপ— এটা ঠিক না।
🔻 কিডনি ছাড়াও Urea কমার কারণ

1️⃣ লিভার দুর্বল হলে
Urea বানানোর কাজ লিভার করে।
লিভার কাজ না করলে urea নিজে থেকেই কমে যায়।

2️⃣ খুব কম প্রোটিন খাওয়া
অনাহার, অপুষ্টি, বা খুব কম ডায়েট → urea value কম হয়ে যায়।
⭐ শেষ কথা:

Urea একা দেখে কিডনির সিদ্ধান্ত দেওয়া ঠিক নয়।
সঠিকভাবে জানতে হলে Creatinine + eGFR + urine test— এগুলো একসাথে দেখা দরকার।
