#যে সব শব্দের পরে Passive এ by ব্যাবহৃত হয় না..........
1. Know verb এরপর to বসে
Active: I know him.
Passive: He is known to me.
2. Vex (বিরক্ত করা) এরপর at ব্যাবহৃত হয়
Active : Their behavior vexed us.
Passive: We were vexed at their behavior
3. Annoyed with ( কোনো ব্যাক্তির উপর বিরক্ত বুঝাতে)
Annoyed at ( কোনো বস্তু বা কাজের উপর বিরক্ত বোঝাতে)
Active: They annoyed us.
Passive: We were annoyed with them.
Active: The Sound annoyed us.
Passive: We were annoyed at the Sound.
4. Surprise এরপর at ব্যাবহৃত হয়
Active: Their behavior surprised us.
Passive: We were surprised at their . behaviour.
5. Seize (ধরা) এরপর at ব্যাবহৃত হয়
Active: The panic seized the writer.
Passive: The writer was seized with the panic.
6. অনুরুপভাবে= Shock at, Cover with, Contain in, Marvel( মুগ্ধ করা) at, Embodied in, Worried about, Satisfied with বসে।

Example:
Q. Give the correct passive form of---'My teacher embodies all the good qualities.'
Ans: All the good qualities are embodied in my teacher.

With a view to, Look forward to, Object to, Confess to, Addicted to, Accustomed to, Admit to, Prior to, Prefer to, Be used to, Get used to ইত্যাদির পর + (verb +ing)

A= Addiction to, Accustomed to, Admit to
B= Be used to
C= Confess to

WO [ও]

W= With a view to
O= Object to

GLP [জিলাপি ]

G= Get used to
L= Look forward to
p= Prefer to

Spelling মনে রাখার কৌশল:
যে সব শব্দের প্রথম অক্ষর উচ্চারিত হয় না --

1. Tsunami ( সুনামী) - পড়তে হবে - টি সুনামী- T sun ami - টি সান আমি।

2. Psychology (সাইকলজি) - পড়তে হবে - পি সাইকলজি - pshy cholo gy- পিসি চল যাই।

3. Pneumonia ( নিউমোনিয়া)-- পড়তে হবে - পি নিউমোনিয়া - P neu monia - পি নিউ মোনিয়া।

4. Pseudonym ( সিউডনিম)- ছদ্মনাম - পড়তে হবে - পি সিউডনিম- P seu do nym - পি সিউ ডু নিম।

5. Mnemonic (নিমনিক)- পড়তে হবে - এম নিমনিক- M ne mo nic - এম নি মো নিক।

O=Oblivious of-- অচেতন
R= Repent of -- অনুতপ্ত হওয়া
Rob of -- ডাকাতি
I= Ignorant of --অজ্ঞ /অনবহিত
Incapable of--অক্ষম
N= In need of-- প্রয়োজনে
A= Accused of -- অভিযুক্ত
Admit of-- স্বীকৃতি পাওয়া
Acquit of -- মুক্তি দেওয়া
Ashamed of -- লজ্জিত

LOVES:
L= Lack of -- ঘাটতি / অভাব
O= Observant -- মনোযোগী
V= Vain of -- অহঙ্কারি
E= Envious of -- ঈর্ষান্বিত
S= Sanguine of-- আশাবাদী

T= Tolerant of -- সহনশীল

M= Mindful of -- মনোযোগী
