People come into the world empty-handed. Then they want to have everything in the world. The more they get, the less they get. They complain about fate.
Why don't I have this, why don't I have that, they can regret it for the rest of their lives. Then one day they leave everything and leave the world empty-handed.
Alas, man, alas, the world, alas, life.

Think there's a few frameworks for this with each level increasing in 'understanding'
1. Remember information (retention and recollection)
2. Demonstrate understanding - be able to discuss, explain, translate
3. Apply - information in a familiar context - adapt, apply, generalise
4. Analyse - break down information and explore relationships and 'why' questions
5. Evaluate (critical thinking) comparison, criticism, opinion
6. Create - apply to new contexts, cross polination of ideas from other fields and personal experiences
