In 1999, Dr S A Rashid, a renowned physician thought about the future generation, who will make our country a prosperous one and be a proud nation of the world. With this thought Dr. S A Rashid with his other family members decided to establish a world class teaching institution attached to his residence at Board Bazar. On October 4, 1999 the dream comes to a fact, school office started admission

for session 2000. On year 2000, the first session started with five classes- Nursery, KG-I, KG-II, Std-2 and Std-3. The next year some of the classes had been added, ie. Play Group, Std-4 and Std-5. Thus gradually the school increased upto O'level class. The first O'level student of KRE School is Ishrat Jahan Disha, appeared in 2007 and had a brilliant result in 7 subjects. Khaleda Rashid Educare School was affiliated and honoured as an Attached Centre of University of Cambridge in 2003 (Centre no: BD 105). The school also registered as an English Medium School with the Board of Secondary Education in 2005.
