Subject: Request for postponement of the recruitment examination for the post of Sub-Assistant Engineer/Section Officer.
Sir,
With reference to the recruitment circular published vide Memorandum No. 42.01.0000.030.11.004.24-305 dated 01/03/2024 and the re-recruitment circular published vide Memorandum No. 42.01.0000.030.11.001.25-320 dated 06/03/2025, the recruitment examination for the post of Sub-Assistant Engineer/Section Officer (Civil/Estimation) and (Mechanical/Electrical) is scheduled to be held on 06/02/2026 for direct recruitment.
However, considering the overall situation surrounding the upcoming national election during the same period, there is a strong possibility that examinees will face various difficulties. In particular, issues related to transportation, security, accommodation, and overall coordination in Dhaka city may place candidates under extreme pressure. As a result, ensuring a fair and smooth examination environment may become challenging.
Moreover, after a long time, there is a strong possibility of holding a free, fair, and participatory national election, and many job seekers are keen to be involved in election-related activities. We believe that during this crucial national period, it is important not to impose additional examination pressure alone, but rather to allow citizens the opportunity to contribute to this significant democratic process.
In view of the above considerations, and in the interest of all examinees as well as to ensure a smooth and fair election process, we respectfully request that the recruitment examination for the post of Sub-Assistant Engineer/Section Officer be rescheduled to a convenient time after the election. We sincerely seek your kind consideration and necessary action in this regard.
