𝐄𝐢𝐝-𝐞-𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐝-𝐮𝐧-𝐍𝐚𝐛𝐢 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐎𝐛𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐭 𝐆𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐡
German University Bangladesh (GUB) observed Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi on 27 August 2026 with due respect and religious solemnity. The program was organized to commemorate the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and to reflect upon his noble life, teachings, and timeless message of peace, compassion, justice, and brotherhood.
The program was graced by Prof. Dr. S. M. Iqbal Hossain, Vice Chancellor (Acting), German University Bangladesh, as the keynote speaker. In his address, he highlighted the significance of following the teachings and exemplary character of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in fostering moral values, harmony, and humanity in society.
Mr. Md. Sumsuddoha, Controller of Examinations, addressed the gathering as the Special Speaker and emphasized the relevance of the Prophet’s (PBUH) teachings in promoting peace, tolerance, honesty, kindness, and service to humanity.
The program was chaired by Mr. Md. Saiful Islam, Dean, Faculty of Business Studies, while Mr. Md. Fuad Hasan, Lecturer, Department of Environmental Science and Technology, conducted the program with due respect and reverence.
The speakers called upon everyone to embrace and practice the noble ideals of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in their personal, social, and professional lives. Special prayers were also offered for peace, prosperity, and the well-being of the nation and the Muslim Ummah.
The observance concluded with due dignity and solemnity in the presence of faculty members, students, officers, and staff of German University Bangladesh. The program served as a meaningful occasion to renew the collective commitment to upholding the timeless values of peace, compassion, justice, and humanity as exemplified by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
