Puerperal sepsis remains a major contributor to maternal mortality worldwide. Our study explores the key socio-demographic, behavioral, and healthcare-related factors that influence preventive health behaviors among postpartum mothers. These insights are crucial for developing targeted interventions that can help reduce maternal infections and improve health outcomes.

📢 Exciting News! Our latest research article, "Analyzing Infant Cry to Detect Birth Asphyxia Using a Hybrid CNN and Feature Extraction Approach," has been officially published in Neuroscience Informatics by Elsevier ScienceDirect and is now available online! 🚀

This study leverages AI and deep learning to analyze infant cries for early detection of birth asphyxia, a critical neonatal condition. Our hybrid CNN-based approach combined with feature extraction techniques offers a promising solution to improve newborn care.

🎓 I am honored to collaborate with Distinguished Professor Dr. M. Shamim Kaiser from the Institute of Information Technology, Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh, who is also serving as a Guest Editor for this issue.

ইনোভেট ফর ইমপ্যাক্ট স্বীকৃতি পেলো বাংলাদেশের “নতুন কুঁড়ি” ✌️🏆

📆 গত ৪ জুলাই ২০২৪ চীনের সাংহাইতে ITU International Telecommunication Union এর আয়োজনে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়ে গেলো AI for Good সামিট ২০২৪। সামিটে AI for Good-Innovate for Impact ক্যাটাগরিতে সারা বিশ্বের ৩৮ টি দেশ থেকে ২১৯ টি Artificial Intelligence নির্ভর প্রজেক্টের USE Case সাবমিট করা হয়। ২১৯ টি USE Case থেকে মাত্র ৫৩টি USE Case AI for Good-Innovate for Impact ক্যাটাগরিতে AI for Good সামিটে প্রদর্শনের জন্য মনোনীত হয় এবং রিপোর্ট আকারে প্রকাশিত হয় ।

🚀 I am thrilled to share that our use case, "Improving Early Detection of Neonatal Asphyxia with Smartphone-Based AI Technologies," has been published as a report by the ✨ ITU International Telecommunication Union in Shanghai, China, on July 4th, 2024. This recognition came as part of the prestigious for Good Summit, under the AI for Good-Innovate for Impact Report Category.

📝This report, guided by ITU's leadership in
AI for Good, showcases AI's potential to advance the 🇺🇳 UN . Discover standout use cases from 219 submissions across 38 countries🌍, advancing crucial areas like , cities, action, , and .

🌐 Out of 219 use cases submitted from 38 countries, only 53 were selected for the AI for Good-Innovate for Impact Report 2024, and I am incredibly proud to announce that our project was the 🥇 sole representative 🌟 from Bangladesh! 🇧🇩

Our project leverages the power of AI technologies💡on smart phones to detect birth asphyxia, a critical condition that poses a significant threat to newborns🤱. By improving early detection, we aim to contribute to Sustainable Development Goal ( ) 3, ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being for all ages.

🎓 This achievement would not have been possible without my incredible 💯 team, Khandaker Mohammad Mohi Uddin and Nitish Biswas, whose dedication and expertise have been instrumental in making this vision a reality. 🎉 Exciting News! 🎉

I feel happy to announce the successful completion of 14-days long training (26 June 2024-9 July 2024) on "Continuous Professional Development (CPD) for Teachers," organized by the College Education Development Project (CEDP) under the National University of Bangladesh. 🌟👩‍🎓👨‍🎓

This intensive program was designed to enhance teaching skills and methodologies, empowering the educators to deliver even more impactful and engaging lessons in the classroom. 📚👩‍🏫

The culmination of this enriching experience was marked by a special ceremony where the Honorable Vice Chancellor of the National University of Bangladesh, Dr. Md. Moshiur Rahman, graciously handed out the completion certificates. 📜🏆
