Bir Muktijudda S.A Salam Nursing College

A vibrant and festive “Food Fair-2025” was celebrated on October 16, 2025, organized by the students of 2nd year Diploma in Nursing Science & Midwifery and Diploma in Midwifery of Z.M Nursing College, Faridpur, and Bir Muktijuddha S.A Salam Nursing Institute, Faridpur.

We were honored to have Professor Dr. Md. Mostak Ahmed, Dean, Faculty of Medicine, University of Dhaka, as the Chief Guest. Special Guests included Professor Dr. Jakir Ahmed Chowdhury (Department of Pharmacy, University of Dhaka), Professor Dr. Md. Golam Rabbni (Department of Fisheries, University of Dhaka), Professor Abu Nasir Ahmed Istiak (Department of Marketing, University of Dhaka), and Mr. A.K.M Amzad Hossain, College Inspector.

The event was presided over by our Chairman, Mr. Abul Kalam Sheikh. Principal Sandhya Mandal and respected faculty members were also present, making the program truly memorable.

An orientation program 2025 at a nursing college is indeed an essential event, serving to welcome new students and furnish them with crucial information regarding their academic journey. These programs typically encompass a range of topics, including academic policies, curriculum overview, campus facilities, student services, and extracurricular activities.
We have meticulously arranged an orientation program to extend a warm invitation to our newcomer students at BMS Nursing College, Faridpur. Present in this program were our honorable chairman, Sir Md. Abul Kalam Sheikh, honorable member of the governing body, Ashok Kumar Shingho Roy, honorable principals Sondha Mandal & Rakhi Nandi, along with our esteemed teachers and beloved students. Commencing with the presentation of flowers to greet our students, the event proceeded with insightful speeches delivered by our chairman and board members, which proved to be enlightening for every attendee. Students savored every moment, alongside the organization of our cultural program.
Throughout this orientation program, students received guidance on matters such as course registration, academic requirements, and expectations during their tenure at the nursing college. They were also introduced to faculty members, administrative staff, and student leaders who stand ready to provide support throughout their academic journey.
In summary, an orientation program serves as a pivotal starting point for students' academic endeavors, fostering a sense of preparedness, support, and enthusiasm as they embark on their studies in nursing. It lays a solid foundation for a positive college experience and positions students for success .

On May 12th, 2025, we celebrated International Nurses Day with great enthusiasm. The day began with a vibrant rally from our college premises to the Faridpur Medical College campus and onather mor, promoting awareness and unity.
A special program followed in our college auditorium, honoring the vital role of nurses. Distinguished guests, including Chairman Md. Abul Kalam Sheikh, Board Member Ashok Kumar Shingho Roy, Principal Sondha Mandal, and Rakhi Nandi of Bir Muktijudda S.A Salam Nursing Institute, joined our faculty and students for the occasion.
Inspiring speeches by our guests highlighted the dedication and contributions of nurses, making the event both meaningful and memorable.

The Belt Changing Ceremony at Bir Muktijoddha S.A. Salam Nursing Institute, Faridpur was a heartfelt and memorable event, celebrating the dedication and achievements of our students as they stepped into the noble profession of nursing.
The Honorable Chairman Sir Md. Abul Kalam Sheikh delivered an inspiring speech, acknowledging the students' perseverance, hard work, and dedication. He encouraged them to uphold the highest standards of care, integrity, and empathy as they embark on their journey in the healthcare sector. Distinguished faculty members, including our Honorable Principal, Shondhya Mandal, Rakhi Nandi (Principal of BMS Nursing College), and other esteemed teachers, shared their heartfelt messages. They reflected on the student's growth, dedication, and the responsibility that comes with wearing the nursing belt—a symbol of service, discipline, and professionalism.
The ceremony was filled with joyous moments, as students received their new belts with pride, signifying their readiness to serve with knowledge, skill, and compassion. The event also featured cultural performances, personal anecdotes, and words of encouragement, creating an atmosphere of unity and celebration. The program concluded with blessings and tokens of appreciation.
