On May 12th, 2026, we celebrated International Nurses Day with great enthusiasm and pride. The day began with a vibrant rally from our college premises to the nearby area, promoting awareness, unity, and the importance of the nursing profession in society. Students, teachers, and staff actively participated in the rally with banners, posters, and slogans dedicated to nurses and healthcare services.
A special program followed in our college auditorium, honoring the vital role of nurses in healthcare and patient care. Distinguished guests, including Chairman Md. Abul Kalam Sheikh, Md madam Kamrun Nahar,Board Member Ashok Kumar Shingho Roy, Principal Sondha Mandal, and Rakhi Nandi of Bir Muktijudda S.A Salam Nursing Institute, joined our faculty members and students for the celebration.
The program included inspiring speeches, discussions, and motivational messages highlighting the dedication, compassion, sacrifice, and hard work of nurses around the world. The guests emphasized that nurses are the backbone of the healthcare system and play a crucial role in improving patient care and community health. especially spoke about the importance of clinical practice and professional responsibility in nursing education.
International Nurses Day is celebrated every year on 12th May to honor the birth anniversary of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing. This special day recognizes the endless contributions of nurses in saving lives, caring for patients, and supporting communities during both normal times and health emergencies.
The celebration created a sense of inspiration, respect, and appreciation among all participants. It was truly a meaningful, educational, and memorable event for everyone at Z.M Nursing College, Faridpur.

​Expert Guidance: Insightful speeches from our Principal and faculty members on the noble path of nursing.These programs typically encompass a range of topics, including academic policies, curriculum overview, campus facilities, student services, and extracurricular activities.
We have meticulously arranged an orientation program to extend a warm invitation to our newcomer students at ZM Nursing College, Faridpur. Present in this program were our honorable chairman, Sir Md. Abul Kalam Sheikh, honorable member of the governing body, Ashok Kumar Shingho Roy, honorable principals Sondha Mandal along with our esteemed teachers and beloved students. Commencing with the presentation of flowers to greet our students, the event proceeded with insightful speeches delivered by our chairman and board members, which proved to be enlightening for every attendee. Students savored every moment, alongside the organization of our cultural program.

Throughout this orientation program, students received guidance on matters such as course registration, academic requirements, and expectations during their tenure at the nursing college. They were also introduced to faculty members, administrative staff, and student leaders who stand ready to provide support throughout their academic journey.

We were privileged to have Dr. Mahamudul Hasan, Civil Surgeon of Faridpur, as our Chief Guest, alongside Chairman Md. Abul Kalam Sheikh. A beautiful day celebrating the journey of our students and the future of healthcare.

On November 13, 2025, the Belt Changing Ceremony-2025 was held for the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year BSc in Nursing students of Z.M Nursing College, Faridpur.

We were honored to have our respected Chairman, Mr. Md. Abul Kalam Sheikh, preside over the event. Principal Sandhya Mandal, along with all faculty members and officials, also graced the ceremony with their presence.

The program was a proud and memorable moment for our students as they stepped forward to the next stage of their academic journey. Congratulations to all!

A vibrant and festive “Food Fair-2025” was celebrated on October 16, 2025, organized by the students of 2nd year Diploma in Nursing Science & Midwifery and Diploma in Midwifery of Z.M Nursing College, Faridpur, and Bir Muktijuddha S.A Salam Nursing Institute, Faridpur.

We were honored to have Professor Dr. Md. Mostak Ahmed, Dean, Faculty of Medicine, University of Dhaka, as the Chief Guest. Special Guests included Professor Dr. Jakir Ahmed Chowdhury (Department of Pharmacy, University of Dhaka), Professor Dr. Md. Golam Rabbni (Department of Fisheries, University of Dhaka), Professor Abu Nasir Ahmed Istiak (Department of Marketing, University of Dhaka), and Mr. A.K.M Amzad Hossain, College Inspector.

The event was presided over by our Chairman, Mr. Abul Kalam Sheikh. Principal Sandhya Mandal and respected faculty members were also present, making the program truly memorable.
