Today, we mourn the heartbreaking loss of our fellow brother, Md. Mahir Shahriar, a proud student of BAF Shaheen College Dhaka and a cherished member of HSC Batch ’27. His absence leaves behind a void that words can never truly describe.
May Allah forgive all his shortcomings, grant him peace in the grave, and bless him with the highest place in Jannah. Though he is no longer with us, his memories will forever remain alive in our hearts.

পহেলা বৈশাখ হলো বাংলা নববর্ষ, বাংলা ১৪৩৩ সালের প্রথম দিন। নতুন সূর্যের আলোয় শুরু হলো আরেকটি সম্ভাবনাময় বছর। বৈশাখ মানেই বাঙালির প্রাণের উৎসব, ঐতিহ্য আর সংস্কৃতির মিলনমেলা।

প্রতি বছরের মতো এবছরও বিএএফ শাহীন কলেজ ঢাকা অত্যন্ত উৎসাহ ও আনন্দের সাথে পহেলা বৈশাখ উদ্‌যাপন করেছে। সকাল থেকেই শিক্ষার্থী ও শিক্ষকরা বর্ণিল সাজে কলেজ প্রাঙ্গনে উপস্থিত হন, যা পুরো পরিবেশকে করে তোলে প্রাণবন্ত ও উৎসবমুখর।

এবারের আয়োজনের বিশেষ আকর্ষণ ছিল কলেজ মাঠে বসানো বৈশাখী মেলা, যেখানে বাঙালির ঐতিহ্য ও সংস্কৃতির নানা দিক তুলে ধরা হয়। পিঠাপুলি, হস্তশিল্প ও গ্রামীণ ঐতিহ্যের নানা উপকরণে সাজানো স্টলগুলো সবার জন্য উন্মুক্ত ছিল, ফলে সকলেই এই আনন্দঘন আয়োজন উপভোগ করার সুযোগ পায়। অনুষ্ঠানের শুরুতেই বর্তমান অধ্যক্ষ গ্রুপ ক্যাপ্টেন শান্তনু চৌধুরী এবং সম্মানিত সাবেক অধ্যক্ষ শাহ কাওসার আহমেদ স্যার তার পরিবারসহ মেলা পরিদর্শন করেন। তাঁদের উপস্থিতিতে আয়োজনটি পায় ভিন্নমাত্রা ও উৎসাহ।

পরবর্তীতে কলেজ অডিটোরিয়ামে আয়োজন করা হয় মনোমুগ্ধকর সাংস্কৃতিক অনুষ্ঠান। গান, নাচ ও নানা পরিবেশনায় মুখর হয়ে ওঠে পুরো অনুষ্ঠান। উপস্থিত অতিথিবৃন্দ ও শিক্ষার্থীরা আনন্দের সাথে উপভোগ করেন এই প্রাণবন্ত পরিবেশনা।
আনন্দ, উচ্ছ্বাস আর বাঙালিয়ানায় ভরপুর এই আয়োজনের মধ্য দিয়ে শেষ হয় বাংলা নববর্ষ উদ্‌যাপন—যা সবার মনে রেখে যায় এক আনন্দময় স্মৃতি।

বিএএফ শাহীন কলেজ ঢাকা আর্ট ক্লাবের আয়োজনে আল্পনা অঙ্কন কর্মশালা সৃজনশীলতার এক অনন্য প্রকাশ ঘটিয়েছে। শিক্ষার্থীরা তাদের মনের ভাব, নকশা ও ঐতিহ্যকে একত্র করে রঙ ও রেখার মাধ্যমে ফুটিয়ে তুলেছে।
এই আয়োজন আমাদের সংস্কৃতি ও শিকড়ের সঙ্গে নতুন প্রজন্মকে যুক্ত করেছে। অংশগ্রহণকারীদের উৎসাহ, মনোযোগ ও সৃজনশীলতা কর্মশালাটিকে করেছে আরও প্রাণবন্ত ও স্মরণীয় অভিজ্ঞতা।
