A miracle in the history of teaching BBC Pronunciation

RP Miracle: I was obsessed with the BBC pronunciation. Still it did not work since no one was there to help or guide me. And tuning the BBC was almost impossible. At the end I learnt the Received Pronunciation (RP) but it took 25 years. I was frustrated since I wasted so much time for such a little something. That is why I never encouraged an

yone to practice it. Then the things turned upside down. I experimented it with some students and the miracle happened. I planted a tree and slept under it for caring it. Now I want to plant a tree for you. You stay with me for some 50 Hours. You will get the same tree that I got after 25 years. IELTS: You need it for going abroad. It tests your English skills (Reading; Writing; Listening; Speaking with accuracy, fluency & pronunciation). If you talk about your English proficiency, no one will believe you. Your IELTS score will talk. Just manage your time with me, I will take the responsibility. You will forget that you are in the classroom. You will smile and consider it a social gathering for fun. PowerPoint: All the materials have been prepared in PowerPoint in the light of my research and teaching for 21 years. You cannot see or smell any medicine. You will learn the fastest and then can realise that the medicine was mixed appropriately with those learning materials. You (less than 10) will follow the projection and practice pronunciation with me and follow other lessons with ease as if you are playing games in the computer. Commonly the pronunciation experts teach phonetic symbols, no matter how long it takes. Interestingly, the matter is: everyone will be too bored with the lessons to continue even before the practice session starts, if there is any, usually none. Even something more interesting undoubtedly is that the learners need to open a dictionary in case of every word when he has no interest to check the unknown word, let alone for pronunciation. Drills can only be the ultimate solution. The expert will read out the planned materials or speak up from his memory. The questions are:

1) Does he sound so while speaking with others in daily conversations?

2) Does he arrange the words similar in terms of pronunciation such as lectures, members, rivers; or so, know, no, go, boat, home; or bouquet, depot, debut, Tsunami; or experience, during, hero, heroine, etc?

3) Does he teach symbols from the beginning? If so, can he hold your interest? Can you remember all those verbatim? Find out your answers with RP Tutorial. The best age range for acquiring 2nd/foreign language pronunciation is before 12. Then it starts getting harder. Even if you have lived in London for 20 years, still you cannot pronounce properly. According to these ideas, what should be the suggestions? i) If you are under 15 and attend RP lessons for 50 hours, you will acquire it the fastest and can sound like BBC News Presenter after some years. It will happen like a tree or a Newton's theory. You will not continue RP lessons, still your pronunciation will keep on improving automatically. ii) The older you get, the slower it will become. And you cannot attain perfection like BBC. iii) And RP Tutorial is essential for all those who want to live in the UK. Your pronunciation will grow up the quickest. On the other hand, if you do not attend the similar RP sessions and go there when you are over 20, your pronunciation may not improve considerably. (Course Title) English Skills with RP & IELTS

Odira Nwobu was born on 24 May 1982 in Enugu State, Nigeria.

He grew up in Nigeria and went to secondary school before starting acting.

🎭 Career

His first film role was in Joseph the Dreamer.

He acted in more than 60 films in Nollywood.

Some of his well-known films are Goat Lover, Family Saga, Home Alone, Village Rats, and Wayward Father.

Later, he became popular for comedy skits on social media, which gained him many fans.

He got married and had a daughter named Christabel Amarachi Nwobu.

He survived a serious car accident in 2025.

💔 Death

Odira Nwobu passed away on 24 November 2025 in South Africa at age 43.

He was found in his hotel room and could not be saved.

He is remembered for making people laugh.

His films and comedy skits touched many lives.
