• Korea is very affordable in terms of tuition and living expenses as compared to English-speaking countries like the U.S., Canada, Australia and UK. The Korean government has offered financial aid to international students to cover their tuition and accommodation fee as well as employment assistance.
• There are more than 100 national and private universities which offer state-of-the-art research facilities for acquiring knowledge in various areas of advanced technologies such as auto manufacturing & shipbuilding (Hyundai, Daewoo, Samsung and POSCO), chemical industry (LG, SK and Samsung), engineering & IT field (Samsung and LG) etc.
• Each student gets associated with well experienced faculty members in their research and academic activities. The quality of education and research is one and the same in the public and private universities.
• Professors are highly respected in Korean society and they get good research grants from the government and industries to do research in frontier fields and come up with new inventions.
