Eid Ul Adha, also known as the Festival of Sacrifice, is when devout Muslims from different parts of the world uphold their dedication, unwavering resolve, and faith by sacrificing animals to fulfill the commandments of the Almighty Allah.
It is a time for reflection, gratitude, and generosity towards others, especially those who are less fortunate.🕊️✨

We, The JWC family, extend our warmest wishes to everyone celebrating this sacredly auspicious day. May this Eid bring you and your loved ones joy, peace, and blessings.

Today is World Environment Day, a day dedicated to raising awareness and taking action on pressing environmental issues. This year's theme, "Ecosystem Restoration," highlights the urgent need to revive damaged ecosystems and reverse the degradation of our planet.

The environment is crucial to our survival and the survival of all living beings on Earth. However, we have been careless with our planet, causing irreparable damage to our ecosystems. Climate change, pollution, deforestation, and overfishing are just a few examples of the damage we have caused. We must also recognize the important role that indigenous communities play in ecosystem restoration.

So, join with Josephite Wall Magazine Club family, as we stand united for a greener and healthier planet. Today, on this special day dedicated to Ecosystem Restoration, we pledge our commitment to protect and restore our precious ecosystems and also commit to taking action to restore our planet's ecosystems.

Together, let's nurture the Earth's biodiversity and build a sustainable future 🌱💚

সূর্যোদয়ের মধ্য দিয়ে শুরু হলো আরও একটি দিনের। নবজাগরণের বার্তা নিয়ে হাজির হলো আরো একটি বছর, ১৪৩০ বঙ্গাব্দ। আজ বাংলা নববর্ষের প্রথম দিন অর্থাৎ পয়লা বৈশাখ। বাঙালির জীবনে এ দিনটি অত্যন্ত তাৎপর্যপূর্ণ। ১৫৮৫ খ্রিষ্টাব্দে সম্রাট আকবরের শাসনামলে প্রবর্তিত ফসলি সনই বর্তমানে বাঙালির গর্বের বাংলা সাল বা বঙ্গাব্দ।

নববর্ষ বিদায়ী বছরের গ্লানি মুছে দিয়ে বাঙালির জীবনে ওড়ায় নতুনের কেতন, চেতনায় বাজায় মহামিলনের সুর। সব ভেদাভেদ ভুলে সকল বাঙালিকে দাঁড় করায় এক সম্প্রীতির মোহনায়। তাই প্রতি বছর পয়লা বৈশাখ এলেই অতীতের সব জরা মুছে গিয়ে বাঙালির হৃদয়ে প্রবাহিত হয় আনন্দের ফল্গুধারা। কবিগুরু রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুরের ভাষায় :-

❝ নব আনন্দে জাগো আজি নব রবির কিরণে
শুভ সুন্দর প্রীতি উজ্জ্বল নির্মল জীবনে।
অমৃত পুষ্প গন্ধ বহ শান্তি পবনে
দেহে মনে নির্ভেজাল আনন্দ উপভোগে। ❞

পয়লা বৈশাখ আজ শুধুমাত্র একটি দিবস নয়। এটি বাঙালির ইতিহাস, ঐতিহ্য এবং সংস্কৃতির ধারক ও বাহক।

যোসেফাইট দেয়াল পত্রিকা ক্লাবের পক্ষ থেকে সকলকে বাংলা নববর্ষের উষ্ম শুভেচ্ছা। জয় হোক বাঙালির, জয় হোক বাঙালি সংস্কৃতির।

শুভ নববর্ষ!

স্বাধীনতার অর্থ নিজের অধীনে থাকা। অসীম আকাশে মুক্ত বিহঙ্গের মতো ছুটে চলা। ঝিমিয়ে পড়া জীবনেও প্রাণের সঞ্চার ঘটায় স্বাধীনতা নামক জিয়ন কাঠি।

১৯৭১ সালের ২৬ শে মার্চ বাঙালির জীবনে আসে সেই স্বাধীনতার উষ্ণ পরশ। পরাধীনতার লৌহ বেড়ি থেকে মুক্ত হয়ে বাঙালি নিজের মতো করে বাঁচতে শেখে। পথটা যদিও মসৃণ ছিল না। দীর্ঘকালের অপেক্ষার পালা শেষ করে, অবশেষে মার্চের ছাব্বিশ তারিখে এলো সেই মাহেন্দ্রক্ষণ। শত বছরের শত সংগ্রাম ও আর্তনাদকে পেছনে ফেলে, কোটি বাঙালির স্বর সেদিন এক হয়ে চিরপরিচিত সেই সম্মোহনী কণ্ঠস্বরের মাধ্যমে ধ্বনিত হয়েছিল : ❝আজ থেকে বাংলাদেশ স্বাধীন।❞
আর সেদিন থেকেই আমরা বাংলাদেশী।

যোসেফাইট দেয়াল পত্রিকা ক্লাবের পক্ষ থেকে সকলকে জানাই মহান স্বাধীনতা দিবসের শুভেচ্ছা। একইসাথে মহান স্বাধীনতা যুদ্ধে জীবন উৎসর্গকারী বাংলা মায়ের বীর সন্তানদের প্রতি রইলো বিনম্র শ্রদ্ধা।

জয় বাংলা! জয় বঙ্গবন্ধু! বাংলাদেশ, চিরজীবী হোক।

Happy Ramadan to all the members of Josephite Wall Magazine Club and the wider community! As we enter this blessed month of fasting and spiritual reflection, let us come together to support and uplift one another. May this month bring us closer to our loved ones, our community and most importantly, our faith. Let us remember those who are less fortunate and make an effort to support them in any way we can. May this month be filled with blessings and may our fasts be accepted. Let us strive to make the most of this opportunity for self-improvement and strengthening our connection with our Creator. Wishing you all a peaceful and fulfilling Ramadan.

অবশেষে সকল জল্পনা-কল্পনার অবসান ঘটিয়ে প্রদান করা হলো যোসেফাইট দেয়ালপত্রিকা ক্লাবের ঐতিহ্যবাহী মুখপত্র, ❝নবারুণ ২০২২❞ সংখ্যা।
ক্লাবের সঙ্গে সংশ্লিষ্ট সকলকে শুভেচ্ছা নিরন্তর। প্রগতিশীল হোক আমাদের পথচলা৷

বর্তমানের একুশ যেন হয়ে পড়েছে যান্ত্রিক। এ যেন এক তারিখমাত্র। বাহ্যিক সৌন্দর্যই যেন আজকের একুশের বিষয়বস্তু। কিন্তু একুশ যে কেবল একটি তারিখ নয় সে বিষয়টি সচেতন করতেই যোসেফাইট দেয়ালপত্রিকা ক্লাবের একটি ক্ষুদ্র প্রয়াস ❝একুশ ফিরে পাক প্রাণ❞ শীর্ষক দেয়ালপত্রিকা। একুশের রক্তলাল ইতিহাসকে জেনে, এর চেতনাকে ধারণ করে আমরা সকলেই এগিয়ে যাবো সোনালি ভবিষ্যতের উদ্দেশ্যে, এই হোক আমাদের অঙ্গীকার।

আমাদের এই প্রাণপ্রিয় মাতৃভাষা বাংলার জন্যে যে দামাল ছেলেরা অকাতরে রক্ত ঝরিয়েছিলো, তাঁদের উদ্দেশ্যে যোসেফাইট দেয়ালপত্রিকা ক্লাবের পক্ষ থেকে জানাই বিনম্র শ্রদ্ধা।
