Production and Submission Policy
BJSLS is published twice in a year. It is available online at no cost and also hard cover binding. First and second issue of every volume will be published in January and July respectively. There is no deadline for the submission of articles to the journal. But for consideration of January issue article should be submitted before 30th September and for July issue
before 31st March. Before submitting any piece of work, it should be ensured that the work is original, unpublished, sources of all kind of information are acknowledged accurately, and proof-read. Special Issue
The Editorial board may also time to time call for papers to publish a special edition on various contemporary issues such as environment, human rights, etc. The time of submission of paper for the special issue will be declared accordingly. The issue may also be designed with the invited articles of the prominent scholars or professionals. Submission Guideline
The substance of Bangladesh Journal of Socio Legal Studies articles are instructed directly relate to at least one legal issue or related issue. The Journal is primarily, but not exclusively, focused on practical subject matters law, political science and social sciences in both national and international affairs but not to the exclusion of an academic topic that may be of interest to our readers. The BJSLS welcomes manuscripts on the various aspects of law and social science of South Asia as well. The broad subject areas covered in coming editions include but are not limited to:

However, the topics are suggestive not exhaustive. So, authors are free to write on any of the topics having relevance with the general theme of law, politics and social science. Format and Reference Style:
• Manuscripts should preferably be between 5,000 and 8,000 words and should be type written and double-spaced with at least 1 inch margin on all sides.
• British Spelling is uniformly accepted.
• Footnotes should be collated at the end of each page. Footnotes to author(s)' names should be designated as *, ** etc. Footnotes to the text should be designated as 1, 2, 3 etc. The asterisked footnote should give the author's position, institutional address and any brief acknowledgement if required.
• Reference in Footnotes [For Example: for articles, author's name in natural order, "title of article" Journal, Vol., No., page; for books, author, title of the book (place, publisher) year, page] should be placed at the end.
• A brief cover letter indicating author’s present position, degrees, recent publications and current address should be supplied on a separate page. The cover should also involve a statement that the material is not under consideration elsewhere, and that it has not been published or is not pending publication elsewhere. Review
All articles sent for consideration in BJSLS goes through a peer review process. Our goal is to share knowledge and expertise and, to encourage both experienced and new academic scholars to publish their works speedily. After getting manuscript, we’ll acknowledge all relevant emails within 24 hours. While receiving manuscript for the first time in the journal, if prima facei shows the manuscript fit for review, the author will get all information and regarding the status of the papers through visiting the website of the journal. The author may need to revise the article according to the suggestions of the reviewer before final submission. Term of Use
