# বাংলাদেশ -শিক্ষাব্যবস্থা-ও-সমসাময়িক-শিক্ষার্থী
'দেশটা রসাতলে গ্যালো' এমন বিচক্ষণ বাণী আজকাল
আমরা হরহামেশাই শুনি। কিন্তু যাদের মুখ থেকে এমন
বাণীর অবৈধ জন্ম হয়ে থাকে তারা থাকতে যে কেন দেশ
রসাতলে যায় সেটা আমার বোধগম্য নয়। তারা তো
রসাতলগামী দেশটার লাগাম টেনে ধরতে পারে!
আমাদের দেশের প্রাথমিক, মাধ্যমিক আর উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক
স্তরে পরিবর্তন আনা হয়েছে। যোগ্যতাভিত্তিক অথবা
সৃজনশীল প্রশ্নপদ্ধতি প্রবর্তন করা হয়েছে। উদ্দেশ্য-
শিক্ষার্থীরা যেন কোনো বিষয়ে মুখস্তনির্ভর না হয়ে
বোঝার চেষ্টা করে। পদক্ষেপটিকে আমি
ব্যক্তিগতভাবে স্বাগত জানাই। কিন্তু তার
কার্যকারিতা প্রশ্নবিদ্ধ হয় পরীক্ষাব্যব্সথার কারণে।
তাই যে উদ্দেশে সৃজনশীল প্রশ্নপদ্ধতি প্রণয়ন করা
হয়েছে সেটা অধরাই রয়ে গেছে। বরং মুখস্তবিদ্যার
আপডেটেড নাম হচ্ছে 'সৃজনশীল'।
অভিভাবকদের মাঝে এই 'সৃজনশীল' নামক ব্যাধি নিয়ে
উদ্বেগের শেষ নেই ।তাই তারা চান যেকোনো উপায়েই
হোক এই ব্যাধিকে জয় করতে হবে। এজন্য তারা
'কোচিং' নামক ক্লিনিকে যান 'যাবতীয় জটিল ও কঠিন
সমস্যার সমাধান' পাওয়ার জন্য। হয়তোবা সেটা মেলে,
অথবা হাতুড়ে সেবায় মগজ আরো পচে যায়। কখনোবা
তারা টিউটর নেন। প্রত্যেক সাবজেক্টের জন্য একজন
করে। ক্লাস সেভেনের এমন শিক্ষারথীকেও দেখোর
সৌভাগ্য হয়েছিল যে প্রতিমাসে টিউশন আর কোচিং
ফি বাবদ পনেরো হাজোরেরও বেশি টাকা ব্যয় করে।
বাংলাদেশের বর্তমান প্রেক্ষাপটে পরিমাণটা
একেবারেই তুচ্ছ নয়। এমন ছাত্রকেও দেখেছি যে তার
রাস্তায় পিঠা বানিয়ে বিক্রিকরা মাকে কাজে
সাহায্য করছে আর স্বল্প আলোতে ক্লাসের পড়া তৈরি
করছে। কখনো ক্রেতাকে পিঠা দিচ্ছে, কখনো টাকা
রাখছে, পিঠা নামিয়ে রাখছে। ছেলেটা একদিন বড়
ডাক্তার হোক, সচিব হোক আমি সেটা আশা করি না। ও
যদি এসএসসি বা ইন্টারমিডিয়েট পাস করে ওর মাকে
রাস্তার অভিশাপ থেকে মুক্তি দিতে পারে তাহলেই
ঘাড়ে হাত চাপড়ে বলব, সাবাশ বেটা! তোর দম আছে।
আমাদের শিক্ষাব্যবস্থা এখন এতটাই খারাপ নয় যে এদেশ
থেকে ভাল মাথা বেরিয়ে আসবে না। বরং যাদের মাথা-
কল্লা বলে কিছুই নেই তারাই শিক্ষব্যবস্থার নিন্দায়
পঞ্চমুখ। একগাদা বই কচি বচ্চাদের ওপর চাপানোর যে
দায় সরকারের ঘাড়ে ঠেলে দিচ্ছেন সেইসব শহুরে
জননীদের উদ্দেশ্যে বলি, আগে নিজের জন্মদেওয়া
নাদুসনুদুস বিদেশি কুকুরছানাটাকে মানুষ বানান। তার
মাথাটাকে স্বাভাবিক রাখুন। তাহলে সন্তানের জীবন
নিয়ে আপনাকে ভাবতে হবে না। আর পারলে রাস্তার ওই
পিঠা বিক্রিকরা ছেলেটার প্রস্রাব প্রতিদিন এক কাপ
করে নিজের সন্তানকে খাওয়ান। ন্যাচারাল থেরাপি
হিসেবে কাজ করবে। সন্তানের মগজ ধোলাই হবে।
আমাদেরর শুভবোধের উদয় হোক।
