5οΈβ£ Enter OTP and set your new password
6οΈβ£ Password must be: β’ 8 characters long
β’ At least 1 uppercase, 1 lowercase, and 1 number

Tentative Academic Calendar for Summer 2024
*Admission Test Procedure*
Admission Test
A two-and-a-half-hour Admission Test consists of English grammar & vocabulary, Quantitative Aptitude (General Math), Reading comprehension, and Composition (Essay).
In addition, there will be a 30-minute drawing test for the Bachelor of Architecture candidates.

Test date Instruction
All candidates must bring admit card & one original photo ID (Passport or NID or HSC Registration Card).
All candidates must report at least 30 min before the admission test.
Cell phones, digital watches, calculators, tabs, cameras, and handbags will not be allowed in the examination hall.
All candidates should bring pens, pencils, sharpeners, erasers, etc.
The Following documents of the successful candidates will be needed at the time of Admission:
(a) SSC/O-levels mark sheet and certificate
(b) HSC/A-levels mark sheet and certificate
(c) Two recent passport-size photographs of the candidate and parents
(d) Candidate's and parent's NID/Passport
Admission test waiver policy
The Admission test is waived for eligible candidates with:
1. SAT score 1150 (1600 scale) or 1700 (2400 scale) or
2. IELTS 7.0 or
3. TOEFL scores: Paper-Based Test (PBT) 563 or
Computer-Based Test (CBT) 223 or
Internet-Based Test (IBT) 85
However, students with admission tests waived against IELTS or TOEFL scores will not be eligible to get admission in BS Economics, BPharm and any of the engineering programs (B.Arch., CSE, EEE & CEE)
Course waiver policy
Course waiver for the students who get admission test waiver
If admission test waived against SAT score, ENG102 & BUS112/ MAT112 courses will be waived
If the admission test is waived against IELTS or TOEFL score, the ENG102 course will be waived. If the IELTS score is 8.0 or above, ENG103 will also be waived.

Complete your registration with a valid email and phone number.
Verify your email and then log in again.
Step-2: Complete your application form
After registration, you will get an Application form.
Complete your application form with valid information.
You may check your application form carefully before the final Submission
Once it is submitted you are not able to edit your application form.
Step-3: Payment options for application Fee

Payment with DBBL/VISA/Master card: 1510/-

***Undergraduate Admission Requirements***
Minimum qualifications for admission Test
Academic Qualifications:
Combined GPA of 8.0 in both SSC and HSC with a minimum GPA of 3.5 in each
OR
GCE O-Levels and A-Levels: O-Levels in five subjects with a minimum Average Grade Point of 2.5 and A-Levels in two subjects with a minimum Average Grade Point of 2.0. Only one βEβ Grade is acceptable in combined O & A-Levels. (Scale A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2 & E=1)
OR
US High School Diploma, IB Diploma Program (IB-DP) or equivalent.
Students with academic qualifications other than the above need to contact Admissions Office to check their eligibility.
Foreign Applicants: candidates must have a minimum avg 60% marks in Grades 10th and 12th.
Specific programs requirements
For all Engineering programs (BS in CSE, EEE, and CEE) of the School of Engineering & Physical Sciences, candidates must have -
Math and Physics with a minimum B grade in HSC
OR
Math & Physics with a minimum C & E grade respectively in A-Levels OR
Math and Physics with a minimum C grade in O-Levels AND must have Math or Physics with a minimum C grade in A-Levels to be eligible to apply.
For B.Arch. (Bachelor of Architecture) program, candidates must have Math or Physics with a minimum 'B' grade in HSC or a 'C' grade in A-Levels to be eligible to apply.
For Biochemistry and Microbiology, candidates must have Biology and Chemistry in SSC/HSC or O/A Levels to be eligible to apply.
For BPharm, applicants must have
Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with a minimum βAβ grade in SSC/Equivalent and HSC/Equivalent separately to be eligible to apply.
Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with a minimum βBβ grade in A-Levels to be eligible to apply.
Note: Candidate must pass HSC/A-Levels in the current year or the previous year for BPharm Program. .

"Online Class Etiquettes"
Need to know about this, please read this & let your friends also. (Specially Freshers)
1)Mute when you're not speaking.
The know-how of Online classes, as we are on home quarantine, our family members may make a lot of noise which might disturb the other attendees in the meeting; so when you are not speaking, keep your headset mute.
2)Don't interrupt while the faculty is speaking.
You can say anything relevant in online class, but when the honourable faculty is saying about something, do not interrupt him. Speak after his speech, otherwise the faculty may angry on you.
3)Don't say anything irrelevant.
In online classes we have a short time for big lectures. So you should not say anything irrelevant, by this the faculty or your classmates may disturbed by your behaviour.
4) Don't share class materials publicly.
As nsu policy you can't share the class contents with anyone. The class contents are the property of North South University, you can't share this publicly in Social Media.
5) Turn on your camera.
If your faculty advised you to turn on your camera, you should turn on your camera while online class is going on.
6) Say no to bullying
Do not bully any classmate in online class.
7) Join classes in a proper place.
You should choose a peaceful place of your house, so that no one can disturb you while the class is going on.
