Two petrol bombs were thrown at Mohammadpur Preparatory School in Dhaka around midnight. The incident was confirmed by Mohammadpur Police Station’s Officer-in-Charge (OC) Kazi Rafique Ahmed. Police said the attack happened around 12:04 am on Tuesday (November 11). Some unknown people threw two petrol bombs at the school on Iqbal Road. A video of the attack has been shared on social media. According to police, four men came on two motorcycles. They quickly threw two petrol bombs at the school and escaped right after. In the video, two motorcycles stop in front of the school late at night. The riders were wearing helmets, and the passengers had masks and caps on. One man got off a bike, lit the bombs, and threw both at the school. After the explosions, they sped away. OC Kazi Rafique Ahmed said no one was hurt in the attack. Police went to the spot soon after and started investigating. They are checking nearby CCTV footage to find out who was behind the incident and why it happened.
