The 24th Governing Body meeting of State College of Health Sciences was held on 14th July 2026 in the conference room of SUB at 12 pm. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr. Akhter Hossain Khan, Vice Chancellor, SUB & Chairman Governing Body , State College of Health Sciences. Respected 02( two) members of board trustees Dr. Sucharita Ahmed, Mrs Mosteka Anowar & 04( four) Professors from University of Dhaka ( Honourable Vice Chancellor of University of Dhaka approved member) , representative of dean Faculty of Medicine, Dhaka University, o1 ( one) guardian representative, 02 Heads of Dept. Of State College of Health Sciences were present in the meeting. The meeting minutes & agendas were presented by Brig Gen ( Retd) Dr Md Afzalur Rahman, ndc, Principal, State College of Health Sciences & member Secretary of the Governing Body of SCHS.

Clinical Placement in Cardiopulmonary:

Our 3rd Year (29th Batch) students have officially begun their clinical placement at the 250 Bedded TB Hospital, Shyamoli, Dhaka.

During this clinical placement, students are developing practical skills in patient assessment, clinical reasoning, treatment planning, and evidence-based physiotherapy management for patients with tuberculosis and various cardiorespiratory conditions. This hands-on experience enables students to translate classroom knowledge into real-life clinical practice while working under the guidance of experienced healthcare professionals.

Learning beyond classrooms—building clinical skills through real-life patient care, gaining hands-on exposure, and practical learning under expert supervision. A vital step toward becoming skilled physiotherapists.

বিএসসি ইন হেলথ টেকনোলজি (ল্যাবরেটরি) এবং বিএসসি ইন নার্সিং এর ২০২৫-২৬ সেশনে নতুন ভর্তি হওয়া ৩২ব্যাচ এর ১ম বর্ষের শিক্ষার্থীদের ওরিয়েন্টেশন অনুষ্ঠিত হবে।
