A Star of the Week is a child that has been chosen by their teacher for going above and beyond their expectations for that particular week. This can be for many different reasons; good behaviour; an excellent piece of work; understanding something tricky; kindness and lots more. Children get very proud when they get Star of the Week and sometimes a postcard even gets sent home informing their parents about how well they have done!

পড়াশোনায় মনোযোগ বসানোর কয়েকটি সহজ টিপস
১/ একনাগাড়ে বেশিক্ষণ পড়াশোনা নয়।
২/ মুখস্থ নয়, বুঝে পড়তে হবে।
৩/ বিভিন্ন সোর্স থেকে পড়া
বুঝে বুঝে পড়ার একটি চমৎকার উপায় হচ্ছে একই টপিক বিভিন্ন সোর্স থেকে পড়া।
৪/ নিবিড় মনোনিবেশ
৫/ ছোট ছোট লক্ষ্য তৈরী করা।
৬/ পর্যাপ্ত ঘুম।
৭/ পর্যাপ্ত পানি পান করা।
৮/ কঠিন পড়াগুলো আগে পড়ে ফেলা।
৯/ Peak Concentration Time
সেই সময়ে পড়তে বসবে যখন সবচেয়ে বেশি মনোযোগ থাকে।
১০/ পড়াশোনার জন্য যেমন পরিবেশ চাই
এমন কোথাও পড়ো যেখানে Distraction সবচেয়ে কম।
১১/ নিজেকে নিজেই পুরস্কার দাওয়া।
১২/ Worry Time to Study Time. ‘দুশ্চিন্তা’য় বিনিয়োগ না করে ‘পড়ায়’ বিনিয়োগ করা।
১৩/ মুখে উচ্চারণ করে পড়া,
মনে মনে পড়ার অভ্যাস ত্যাগ করা।
১৪/ লিখে লিখে পড়,
পড়ার সময় অবশ্যই সামনে খাতা কলম রাখো।
১৫/ পড়ার জায়গা বদলে দেখো
অসুস্থ মানুষকে যেমন চিকিৎসকরা বায়ু বদলের পরামর্শ দেন তেমনি পড়ার ক্ষেত্রেও বায়ু বদল কখনো কখনো গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা রাখে।
১৬/ Stop Multitasking
মাল্টি-টাস্কিং অর্থাৎ একইসাথে একাধিক কাজ করলে কখনোই ব্রেইন সবগুলো কাজে সমান ও সর্বোচ্চ মনোযোগ দিতে পারে না।
তাই পড়ার সময় মোবাইল ফোন ব্যবহার করা তো দূরে থাক, মোবাইল কাছেই রাখা উচিত নয়।

শারীরিক শিক্ষার আবশ্যিক কর্মসূচির মধ্যে একটি হলো প্রাত্যহিক সমাবেশ । প্রাত্যহিক সমাবেশের মধ্য দিয়ে প্রতিদিন বিদ্যালয়ের কর্মসূচি আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে শুরু হয়। শিক্ষার্থীদের মধ্যে দলীয় সমঝোতা এবং দেশপ্রেম জাগ্রত করার ক্ষেত্রে এর ভূমিকা অপরিসীম ও অনিবার্য।

নতুন কারিকুলামে শিল্প সংস্কৃতি বইয়ের ৬ষ্ঠ ও ৭ম শ্রেণির চলো নিজেকে আবিষ্কার করি পাঠে ফুলের ছবি দেয়ালিকায় সুন্দর ভাবে উপস্থাপন করায় সুপ্রিয় শিক্ষার্থীদের অভিনন্দন জানাচ্ছি।অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন শিক্ষক মন্ডলী এবং সুপ্রিয় শিক্ষার্থী বৃন্দ। শিক্ষার্থীরা তাদের স্ব স্ব দলের কার্যক্রম দেয়ালিকায় উপস্থাপন করেছে। তারা এতটুকু বুজতে সক্ষম হয়েছে যে ফুলের বাগানে অনেক গুলো ফুল এবং প্রাণী থাকে এবং তাদের নিজস্ব গুণ বা বৈশিষ্ট্য আছে। সে পছন্দের ফুলের নিচে নিজের নাম লিখবে। উদ্দেশ্য সেই ফুলের গুণ বা বৈশিষ্ট্য যেন তার মধ্যে তৈরি হয়এবং ফুলের মত সেও যেন সমাজে বিকশিত হতে পারে।
