যখন দৌড়ায়, মনে হয় ছোট ট্রেন চলছে।
হঠাৎ হঠাৎ থামে।
চোখ বড় করে তাকায়।
মনে হয় কিছু একটা ধরতে চলেছে।
ওর মুখের কথা আরও মজার।
যদি কিছু পছন্দ না হয়, সঙ্গে সঙ্গে বলে,
“এইটা ভালো না।”
যদি পছন্দ হয়, লাফ দিয়ে বলে,
“ইস! দারুন!”
খেলাধুলায় সে বাঘের মতো।
খেতে বসলে সে সাধুর মতো।
একবার এক টুকরো বিস্কুট নিয়ে আধা ঘণ্টা কাটিয়ে দিল।
মনে হলো, বিস্কুটের ওপর গবেষণা চলছে।
সবচেয়ে মজার ব্যাপার হলো—
সে সবাইকে প্রশ্ন করে।
একটা না, দুইটা না…
দিনে কমপক্ষে পঞ্চাশটা।
সবাই হাঁপিয়ে যায়।
ও তখন বলে,

পিচ্চিটা আবার খুব আবেগী।
কারো মন খারাপ দেখলে কাছে যায়।
হাত দিয়ে মুখ ধরাধরি করে জিজ্ঞেস করে,
“তুমি কাঁদো নেমু?”
শুনেই সবাই হাসে আর ভালো হয়ে যায়।
পিচ্চির হাসি সব ঘর ভরে দেয়।
তার কৌতূহল সবাইকে অবাক করে।
আসলেই—
সেই পিচ্চিটা ছোট হলেও
তার আনন্দটা অনেক বড়।
