Dutch-Bangla Chamber of Commerce & Industry

The Dutch-Bangla Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DBCCI), in collaboration with the Bangladesh Embassy in the Netherlands and North South University, organized a high-level international seminar titled “Unlocking International Market Opportunities: Bangladesh–Dutch ICT Industry Collaboration” on 29 January 2026 at the Syndicate Hall of North South University (NSU) in Dhaka.

The seminar was chaired by DBCCI President Md. Shakawat Hossain Mamun. The Chief Guest was Professor Dr. Abdul Hannan Chowdhury, Vice-Chancellor of North South University and Chairman of Grameen Bank. The Special Guest, Md. Hasan Abdullah Touhid, Charge d’Affaires of the Bangladesh Embassy, joined the event virtually.

Among others who spoke at the seminar were Professor Dr. Roknuzzaman of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at NSU; Engineer Mohammad Shahriar Khan, Managing Director of Nexcraft Limited; Mourad Mouhoti, IoT Sales Channel Lead at Cisco (Netherlands); Shahinur Islam, Chief Executive Officer of Mindshaper; Newton B. Wahid, Trustee Member of ICT Olympiad Bangladesh; Professor Dr. Mohammad Abdul Malek of the Department of Economics at Miyazaki International University, Japan; Md. Manjur Mahmud, President of DataSoft; and Imran Hashim, IT Chapter Lead at ABN AMRO (Netherlands), along with others.

The Dutch-Bangla Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DBCCI), in collaboration with LIMRA Exhibitions, successfully organized a high-level seminar titled “Bridging the gap between high-tech, sustainable Dutch agricultural systems and Bangladesh's scale, climate-vulnerability and agro-processing bottlenecks”. The event took place on Saturday, 22 November 2025, at Noboratri (Hall-4), International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB), Dhaka, bringing together leading agricultural experts, researchers, policymakers, agribusiness leaders.
