Teachers’ Training Programme

Ms. Rimi Rashida, Preschool Form Teacher and Ms. Sangita Das, Math & Science Teacher of Junior School of Milestone Laurels International School participated in a professional training session organized by Edexcel. The training focused on enhancing modern teaching practices and strengthening classroom effectiveness.

The key areas covered during the session included active learning strategies, effective lesson planning, curriculum implementation, problem-solving sessions, participatory learning techniques and student assessment methods. The program emphasized creating engaging and student-centered classrooms that encourage critical thinking, collaboration and practical understanding.

The session was highly informative, interactive and enriching. It provided valuable insights into innovative teaching methodologies and effective classroom management techniques. The participants gained practical knowledge and strategies that will contribute positively to improving the teaching-learning process at school.

Their participation reflects the institution’s commitment to continuous professional development and quality education.

The Religious Studies Department of Milestone Laurels International School arranged a presentation on the significance of Hajj and Eid-ul-Azha.

The program highlighted the spiritual importance of Hajj as one of the five pillars of Islam. Students learned how Hajj teaches equality, patience, unity, self-discipline and complete submission to Allah. The presentation also focused on the lessons of sacrifice, obedience and compassion shown by Prophet Ibrahim (AS).

Students learned the importance of helping the poor, sharing happiness and strengthening unity through Qurbani. The presentation was informative, inspiring, and meaningful for all participants.
