This very day stands as a reminder rights are never gifted, they are earned. Witnessed in late 19th Century America, workers were subject to unfair working hours, thus they declared general strike for justice. Their struggle laid the foundation for the rights we uphold today.

Brac University Law Society honours every worker’s hardwork and perseverance , from the past to the future, globally and locally.

The IDLO BRAC University Health Law Intra Moot Court Competition 2026 has its dates set.

The Memorial submission deadline is set at 11:59 PM of 19th April.

The competition will be held on 24th and 25th April.

It is also to be noted that the citation format of the competition will be the newly updated 5th edition of OSCOLA.

BRAC University Law Society wishes all the competitors a very best of luck in their mooting journey. Further necessary instructions and updates will be provided soon.

Warmest wishes on the occasion of 26th March, the Independence Day of Bangladesh. This day holds immense historical significance as it marks the declaration of independence in 1971, leading to the glorious Liberation War that freed us from oppression. It reminds us of the courage, sacrifice and unwavering determination of those who fought for justice and sovereignty.

Beyond marking the birth of our nation, 26th March also laid the foundation of Bangladesh’s legal and constitutional framework, rooted in justice, certainty and the protection of fundamental rights.

🚨Notice: Refund Update for Iftar Event 2026

It is very unfortunate that the Iftar Event, 2026 had to be cancelled after most of the preparations were already completed. We were just as excited about the event as all of you, and it was equally disappointing for us to make this decision.

All students who registered for the Iftar Event 2026 have been refunded through a proper and organized process.
