Scope: Production work for a beginner/intermediate web designer. Projects range from simple flash banner headline iterations and resizes to web page designs and html email, etc. Experience with design, animation, slicing & optimizing files is preferred, but not required. Willing to give invaluable training if you have the basic skills. Our team is unusually fast and efficient with high standards and expectations for production speed & quality.

ABCD company is looking for a creative, entrepreneurial Design intern to help develop and execute design and marketing projects, both print and online. This is a great opportunity to both take on discrete projects and gain the sort of design experience unique to the ground-floor of a small, agile Silicon Valley startup, based at the Stanford Venture Studios.

COMPANY DESCRIPTION:::
ABCD is a new Silicon Valley start-up led by a small team of Stanford students, as part of the Stanford Venture Studios. It's vision is unique: solve a single, niche problem, and expand fully into all relevant markets. ABCD allows individuals to voice-record their names online so that announcers and players in a variety of important settings - graduation ceremonies, wedding receptions, sports announcing, radio announcing, diplomatic settings, international business settings, conferences, etc - know how to say these names correctly. Our initial launch has received rave reviews, and we aim to quickly scale up our presence - especially in the educational market.

Responsibilities::::

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Design interns will work with the Founder, Product Manager, Business Development team, and Engineering team on any of a number of projects:
- Designing logos (print and web)
- Designing graphics for marketing collateral (print and web)
- Designing postcards,brochures, and flyers for marketing campaigns
- Website front-end design, email design
- Publication layout
- Research other successful branding, promotions and design material
- Assist in brainstorming and creating cutting edge concepts for upcoming projects

Specific tasks will be determined in collaboration with the Founder and other senior team members, but there is much flexibility to develop your own creative vision. This internship will be especially rewarding to those with an entrepreneurial spirit who enjoy taking initiative and increasing responsibility.
- We work with you to determine what sorts of projects you would find most beneficial, and to develop skill development goals for the internship and experience goals.
- Hours are flexible
- Majority of work can be done remotely if desired, but some in-person meetings required at the Stanford Venture Studios
