This March 8th, there is nothing to celebrate. While Bangladesh grapples with a systemic failure to punish sexual violence, the tragedy in Iran underscores that this is a global crisis of safety.

The spike in sexual violence isn't just another issue, it is a national disgrace. When the government fails to provide severe punishment and society looks away, it becomes complicit. This poster is our "Scream." We are replacing flowers with facts and slogans with a demand for accountability. The message remains the same: a society that does not protect its women and girls; has lost its credibility to walk away saying, "Happy Woman's Day". This society has cut throats of the voices, plunged all the smilling faces. We won't stop, we won't stop "screaming" untill a six months old to sixty years old have a place to breath. This old dirt needs to be replaced and we won't settle for anything less than that.

বিতর্ক শুধু যুক্তির লড়াই নয়, এটি চিন্তার পরিশুদ্ধতা ও বন্ধুত্বের সেতুবন্ধন। সরকারি তিতুমীর কলেজ বিতর্ক ক্লাব বরাবরই সকল বিতর্ক ক্লাবের সাথে বন্ধুত্বপূর্ণ সম্পর্ক বজায় রাখে। এরই ধারাবাহিকতায় আজ রাত ১০ টা ৪৫ মিনিটে অনলাইনে সরকারি তিতুমীর কলেজ বিতর্ক ক্লাব ও বাংলাদেশ মেরিটাইম ইউনিভার্সিটি ডিবেটিং সোসাইটি এর একটি প্রীতি বিতর্ক আয়োজিত হতে যাচ্ছে।

আর একবারও ডাকলে ঘৃণায় তুমি কুঁচকে উঠবে-
সালাম, রফিক উদ্দিন, জব্বার-কি বিষণ্ন থোকা থোকা নাম;
এই এক সারি বর্শার তীক্ষ ফলার মতো এখন হৃদয়কে হানে
বিচ্ছেদের জন্য তৈরী হওয়ার আগেই
আমরা ওদেরকে হারিয়েছি-
কেননা, প্রতিক্রিয়ার গ্রাস জীবন ও মনুষ্যত্বকে সমীহ করে না;
ভেবে ওঠার আগেই আমরা ওদেরকে হারিয়েছি
কেননা, প্রতিক্রিয়ার কৌশল এক মৃত্যু দিয়ে হাজার মৃত্যুকে ডেকে আনে।
আর এবার আমরা হারিয়েছি এমন কয়েকজনকে

যাঁদের হারালাম তাঁরা আমাদেরকে বিস্তৃত করে দিয়ে গেল
দেশের এ প্রান্ত থেকে ও প্রান্তে, কথা কণা করে ছড়িয়ে দিয়ে গেল
দেশের প্রাণের দীপ্তির ভেতরে মৃত্যুর অন্ধকারে ডুবে যেতে যেতে।

We take a moment to appreciate and announce the Champions and Runners of this edition of Anchors of Argument 2.0. "Lambs became Lions" is the most suitable line for all these brilliant individuals. What have they not done?! From attending the practice debate sessions to reaching the finals. No barrier could restrain them from growing up. In each edition, we try our best to instill the spirit of debate throughout the campus. The heavy contest, prolonged sessions have finally come to an end, and now we have an outcome.
But there's a saying that once you enter the Culling game, there's no coming back, right? We expect these talented individuals to show up at bigger occasions and continue the art.
