চৈত্রের দাবদাহ আর ঝরাপাতার জীর্ণতা শেষে, বৈশাখের প্রথম সূর্যোদয় আমাদের জীবনে আসে এক স্নিগ্ধ আশীর্বাদ হয়ে। কালবৈশাখীর মাতাল হাওয়া উড়িয়ে নিয়ে যাক গত হয়ে যাওয়া বছরের যাবতীয় ব্যর্থতা, ক্লান্তি আর মলিনতা। নতুন বছরের প্রতিটি প্রহর সেজে উঠুক অনাবিল আনন্দ, অদম্য আশা আর নবজাগরণের প্রবল উদ্যমে। বাংলার শাশ্বত মাটি আর বহমান জলে মিশে থাকুক এই চিরন্তন উৎসবের ঐকতান।

২৫শে মার্চের কালরাত্রি পেরিয়ে ২৬শে মার্চ আমাদের শিখিয়েছে মাথা উঁচু করে দাঁড়াতে। লাখো শহীদের রক্তে রাঙানো এই লাল-সবুজ পতাকা শুধু একটি প্রতীক নয়।এটি আমাদের অস্তিত্ব, আমাদের গর্ব।
সবুজ মাঠে উড়ে যাওয়া পতাকার প্রতিটি দোলায় যেন ভেসে আসে মুক্তির গান, স্বাধীনতার আহ্বান। নতুন প্রজন্মের কাছে এই দিন শুধু স্মৃতি নয়, একটি দায়িত্ব—দেশকে ভালোবাসা, দেশের জন্য কাজ করা।
আজকের এই দিনে শ্রদ্ধাভরে স্মরণ করি সকল বীর শহীদদের, যাদের ত্যাগে পেয়েছি স্বাধীন বাংলাদেশ।
