Hello all, the ACM COMPASS 2026 poster call is live. The conference is virtual this year. The submission link will be live soon. This time, we have two rounds of submissions. The dates are below:

Deadlines are anywhere on earth (AoE) time.
Submission length: Between 2000 and 3000 words excluding references. Typically, up to 6 pages long (excluding references).
Submissions must be anonymous and should not include any author names, affiliations, and contact information.
Accepted papers will be included in the Proceedings of COMPASS 2026 and will become available in the ACM Digital Library.

Huge congratulations to the Autism Team led by Anik Sinha and the 4IR Team led by Antara Saha. Both teams have received CTRG funding from NSU this 2026. The year has truly started with a blast!
The Autism project focuses on the development of an application to support communication and learning for Children with Autism (CWA).
The 4IR project aims to examine the adoption of automation-driven manufacturing tools in Bangladeshi RMG industries through a socio-technical lens.
Both teams are moving forward with dedication and hard work. They have got a fantastic opportunity to deliver outstanding research.

Congratulations to Professor Nova Ahmed and her team of sailorsâAnik Saha, Ifti Azad, and Anik Sinhaâfor successfully signing the Higher Education Acceleration and Transformation (HEAT) Research Project with the World Bank and the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh. This project, titled "Understanding Mental Health Status & Tech Intervention Design for Tertiary-Level Students in Bangladesh," is a nationwide initiative that will last 34 months, with funding amounting to USD 434000 (5 Crore and 29 lac BDT). It is the only project awarded from the ECE department of North South University (NSU). We also extend our congratulations to the other two teams from NSU that received this grant
We are grateful to Professor Salekul Islam, Dr. Abdul Wohab, and Zeeba Zahra Sultana for collaborating with Professor Nova Ahmed and providing constructive feedback. We hope this partnership will yield innovative results in mental health research. Thanks to Rahat Jahagir Rony for his unwavering support. Additionally, we would like to thank research students Antara Saha, Shihab Reza, and Manoshi Turzo for their contributions to the proposal writing during the initial phase.

Majed had done wonderful work when he was at NSU, back in couple of years ago. His work was unpublished for so a long time. Finally, it has been accepted in COMPASS 2025. We wish him the best of luck in his mindblowing career in Washington, USA.
