Martin Luther King took his breath every time after he had said ‘I have a dream’. Similarly, Old Major (oldest boar) dreamt of a utopian world where all animals will be equal devoid of the presence of and the dominance by any human around.

Still the result is a circle—moving forward and then backward unless it comes back at the same place where it has started first from. This was only realised by Benzamin, the donkey.

To elaborate India wanted no English ruler. It happened but the happiness among Indians remained unchanged. The problem was the co-existence of Hindus and Muslims. Then the dream changed and fortunately it was realised. As a result, Pakistan came into being. Still the state of peace among its people (mostly Muslims) remained the same.

Then after a long battle with bloodshed came the opportunity to live without Pakistanis. Now the populace of Bangladesh is in other dreams - peace and tranquility; prosperity and status; prospect and progress.

Old Major was absolutely hopeful of the happiness and prosperity among animals only when they will be in the world of no humans. His plan was to build such an animal kingdom. Unfortunately, in the real world we find no wild flower garden which is without any snake in it.

Even one of the 12 followers of Jesus Christ was the traitor—Judas Iscariot. A very few out of so many are enough to destroy the ideal conception. To clarify an ideal something is never a really ideal something practically.

Now the animals drove away every human out of the animal kingdom. Subsequently, some humans were welcomed for business. Other than that some influencial animals changed themselves into humans - downside up.

The result: any dreaming is a circle. It starts and comes back to our utter dismay. The only way: we are for ourselves, so are we for others.

এটি সাহিত্য পাঠে এক অনবদ্য দৃষ্টি দান করে থাকে। তাই এ সম্পর্কে সম্মখ ধারনা থাকা বাঞ্ছনীয়। যা আপাতদৃষ্টিতে যেমন প্রকৃত দৃষ্টিতে তা উল্টা আকৃতি ধারন করে। ঠিক আয়নায় যা প্রতিবৃম্বিত হয়।

আমাদের দৃষ্টি প্রায়শঃই সম্মূখপানে নিবন্ধ থাকে। সামনে গুলিবিদ্ধ হরিণটি নির্লিপ্তভাবে শায়িত থাকলেও পেছনে বাঘ খুশিতে বাগ-বাগ করতে থাকে। আর সে কারনে গ্রীক মিথলজিতে (Greek Mythology) দেখা যায় এক বিপর্যয়ের ঘটনা। রাজা মেনেলসের (King Menelaus) পলাতক স্ত্রী হেলেনকে উদ্ধার করতে নানা বিশ্বয়কর আয়োজন করা হয়েছিল। নয় বছর যুদ্ধারত অবস্থায় পেছনে তাকাতে ফুরসৎ পায়নি মেনেলসের বড় ভাই রাজা অ্যাগাম্যামনন্ (King Agamemnon)। প্যারিসের পরিবার তথা ট্রয় নগরী পুড়িয়ে দেওয়া গেলেও হেলেনকে উদ্ধার করা যায়নি। তবে অ্যাগাম্যামননের স্ত্রী ক্লিটেমনেস্ট্রা (Clytemnestra) অপর জনের অপর গৃহে স্থায়ী আসন গেড়ে ফেলেছে ততদিনে। তবে মজার ব্যাপার হলো, রাজাদের স্ত্রী বিয়োগ বড় বিপর্যয় ছিল না, যদিও হেলেনের স্থলাভিযুক্ত কেউ হতে পারে না।

Nathaniel Hawthorne অনেক ক্ষেত্রে Irony-র আশ্রয় নিয়েছেন। ফুটিয়ে তুলেছেন বৈপরিত্য আপাতদৃষ্ট আর প্রকৃতদৃষ্টের মাঝে। Chapter II (The Market Place)-এ এক মহিলা মন্তব্য করে “…the Reverend Master Dimmesdale, her godly pastor, takes it very grievously to heart that such a scandal should have come upon his congregation”. অথচ সেই ব্যক্তিই অবৈধ কণ্যা Pearl–এর বৈধ পিতা।
