The antibody is part of our natural defense. We have naturally occurring antibodies, Auto and Allo Antibodies produced against Red Blood Cells that are different from our own, They are called “Irregular Antibodies ”.
Red Cell Antibody screening tests help us to detect clinically significant irregular antibodies.
Our session will focus on
- Significance of antibody detection against red blood cell
- How to perform antibody screening?
- ⁠What problems may arise if irregular antibodies are not screened?
- ⁠Troubleshooting of antibody screening.
- ⁠Things we should consider when reporting a positive case.

এ পদ্ধতি রক্তে শুধুমাত্র প্রয়োজনীয় উপাদান যেমন : প্লাটিলেট, লোহিত রক্ত কণিকা অথবা রক্তরস সংগ্রহ করে অন্যান্য উপাদানগুলো শরীরে ফেরত দিয়ে থাকে। আমাদের দেশে এফেরেসিস পদ্ধতিতে মূলত প্লাটিলেট সংগ্রহ করা হয়ে থাকে। সম্প্রতিক কালে থেরাপেটিক চিকিৎসা সেবায় উক্ত পদ্ধতির ব্যবহার হয়েছে।

* সঠিক রক্তদাতা নির্বাচন। রক্তদাতার পর্যাপ্ত পরিমাণ প্লাটিলেট থাকা নিশ্চিতকরণ, রক্তদানের পূর্বে
ভারি খাবার পরিহার, পর্যাপ্ত পানি পান করা ইত্যাদি।

* মেশিন ও কিট সেট-আপ সম্পর্কিত বিষয়াদি অপারেশন ভিত্তিক সমস্যাগুলো!!
* মেশিনের ও প্লাটিলেট গ্রহীতার পার্শ্ব প্রতিক্রিয়া!!

• position the patient comfortably.
• Apply a tourniquet above the puncture site.
• Select and clean the vein.
• Insert the needle and collect blood.
• Remove the needle, apply pressure, and bandage.
• Post-collection Care: Dispose of materials properly.
Blood Processing.
• Labeling: Ensure correct labelling of samples.
• Centrifugation: Separate plasma or serum if needed.
• Storage and Transport: Maintain appropriate temperatures and transport them
to the lab.
