কোনো সিদ্ধান্ত বা পরিস্থিতি এক বা একাধিক বিষয়ের ওপর নির্ভর করলে এই structure টি ব্যবহার করুন। IELTS Speaking এ সরাসরি Yes/No না বলে balanced ও realistic answer দেওয়ার জন্য এটি খুবই useful।

Structure:
It depends mainly on + noun/factor.

অথবা:

Whether + subject + verb + depends mainly on + factor(s).

Example:
Whether I go out at the weekend depends mainly on my workload and the weather.
সপ্তাহের শেষে আমি বাইরে যাব কি না, সেটি মূলত আমার কাজের চাপ এবং আবহাওয়ার ওপর নির্ভর করে।

আরও কিছু example:

What I wear depends mainly on the weather.
Whether I travel depends mainly on my budget and schedule.
How much time I spend online depends mainly on how busy I am.

IELTS Speaking এ “Do you usually go out at weekends?” প্রশ্নের উত্তরে শুধু “Yes” বা “No” না বলে এই structure ব্যবহার করলে আপনার answer আরও flexible, natural এবং well-developed শোনাবে।

নিজের personality, habits বা preferences সম্পর্কে naturally বলার জন্য এই structure-টি ব্যবহার করুন।

Structure:
I’m the kind of person who + verb/details.

Example:
I’m the kind of person who prefers spending time with a few close friends.
আমি এমন একজন মানুষ, যে অল্প কয়েকজন ঘনিষ্ঠ বন্ধুর সঙ্গে সময় কাটাতে বেশি পছন্দ করে।

আরও কিছু example:

I’m the kind of person who enjoys learning new things.
I’m the kind of person who plans everything in advance.
I’m the kind of person who needs some quiet time after a busy day.

IELTS Speaking-এ শুধু “I like spending time with close friends” না বলে এই structure ব্যবহার করলে আপনার personality আরও naturally describe করতে পারবেন এবং answer-টি personal ও well-developed শোনাবে।

কঠিন Vocabulary ব্যবহার করলেই কি IELTS-এ Band 7 পাওয়া যায়?

Myth:
কঠিন ও uncommon vocabulary ব্যবহার করলেই IELTS Speaking-এ ভালো score পাওয়া যায়।

Fact:
IELTS examiner শুধু আপনার শব্দ কতটা কঠিন, সেটি দেখেন না। আপনি vocabulary কতটা accurately, naturally এবং context অনুযায়ী ব্যবহার করছেন—সেটিই বেশি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ।

শুধু examiner-কে impress করার জন্য unfamiliar word ব্যবহার করলে sentence awkward হতে পারে, এমনকি meaning-ও ভুল হয়ে যেতে পারে।

Example:

❌ I was tremendously exasperated because the bus was late.
বাক্যটি grammatically correct হলেও সাধারণ conversation-এ unnecessarily formal শোনাতে পারে।

✅ I was really frustrated because the bus was extremely late.
এটি clear, natural এবং context অনুযায়ী appropriate।

Band 7-এর জন্য আপনার দরকার:

Topic অনুযায়ী relevant vocabulary
Natural collocations
Accurate word choice
কিছু less-common expression
Paraphrasing করার ability

মনে রাখবেন:
Big words নয়—right words in the right context আপনার score বাড়াতে সাহায্য করবে।

কোনো person, place বা thing-এর সবচেয়ে পছন্দের দিকটি সুন্দরভাবে প্রকাশ করতে এই structure টি ব্যবহার করুন।

Structure:
What I like most about + noun/person/place + is + favourite quality/reason.

Example:
What I like most about my hometown is its peaceful environment.
আমার hometown-এর যে বিষয়টি সবচেয়ে ভালো লাগে, সেটি হলো এর শান্ত পরিবেশ।

আরও কিছু example:

What I like most about my best friend is her honesty.
What I like most about my job is the flexibility.
What I like most about travelling is experiencing different cultures.

IELTS Speaking-এ শুধু “I like my hometown” না বলে এই structure ব্যবহার করলে আপনার answer আরও natural, specific এবং well-developed শোনাবে।
