*The Department of Law, Manarat International University,* and the *Manarat International University Moot Court Society (MIUMCS)* are proud to announce that the University's Moot Court Team has secured *10th place* in the Memorials Ranking at the *4th Professor Dr. Khabir Uddin Ahmed National Moot Court Competition 2026*, competing among 50 teams from 40 Universities, across Bangladesh.

This notable accomplishment reflects the team's exceptional dedication, meticulous legal research, analytical proficiency, and commitment to excellence in written advocacy. It also stands as a testament to the continuous support and guidance provided by the faculty members, mentors, and the Moot Court Society in fostering academic and professional growth.

Team MIUMCS – Team Aequitas from the Moot Court Society of Manarat International University participated in the 4th Professor Dr. Khabir Uddin Ahmed National Moot Court Competition 2026,
University Of Chittagong.

Manarat International University is pleased to share that Mr. Shahriar Bin Wares( Focal-Point of MIU LAW), and Ms. Sumaiya Islam, faculty members in the Department of Law, successfully participated in the Model Labour Law Curriculum Development Bootcamp held from 15 to 17 May 2026 at Dream Square Resort, Gazipur.

They have represented Manarat International University under its Memorandum of Understanding with the International Labour Organization (ILO). The participation reflects the university’s ongoing commitment to strengthening legal education and academic collaboration at both national and international levels.
The ILO has partnered with thirteen universities in Bangladesh to improve labour law education. The initiative aims to strengthen curriculum content by incorporating International Labour Standards, improve teaching methods for law teachers, and promote comparative research skills among faculty members and students.

This initiative has created an important platform for Labour Law teachers from different universities to enhance their knowledge and skills, and it is expected to contribute positively to the future development of labour law education in Bangladesh.

Finally, it is also worth mentioning that being the Focal-Point of MIU LAW, Mr. Shahriar Bin Wares will continue to collaborate with the International Labour Organization (ILO) in the future academic curriculum development by complying with the domestic legislation of labour laws and international labour standards(ILS).
