An inspiring day of innovation, engineering, and motorsports at Adamjee Cantonment College!

Team MIST Blitz, in collaboration with Formula Adamjee and ACCRC, successfully hosted an informative workshop, discussion session, and the thrilling ‘Dynamic Roadshow’ featuring their Formula Student car, Furiosa 1.0

The event officially began at 11:00 AM in the presence of the Chief Guest, Brig Gen Md Shahan Sadi, ndc, psc, MPhil. Through insightful discussions on Formula Student engineering, teamwork, innovation, and the journey of building a competitive formula car, the session inspired countless students to explore the world of motorsports and automotive technology.

The highlight of the event was the dynamic showcase of Furiosa 1.0 across the campus roads, creating an unforgettable experience for everyone present.

Inspiring Debate session on Igniting Anti-Corruption Mindset among the Students organised by ACC

The final round of a thought-provoking debate session titled “The Role of the Family is the Most Significant in Developing an Anti-Corruption Mindset” was held at Adamjee Cantonment College on 14 May 2026 at the college auditorium.

The event was organised with the aim of inspiring honesty, moral values, and a sense of integrity among the younger generation, while also creating awareness about the harmful effects of corruption on both individual and national life.

The debaters of both the teams expressed their ideas, logics, and perspectives on one of the most pressing social issues that helped the audience to rethink their values and beliefs.

The session was graced by the College Principal, Brig Gen Md Shahan Sadi, ndc, psc, MPhil. In his insightful speech, he emphasised that the fight against corruption begins with personal values, self-discipline, and moral responsibility. He further highlighted the importance of honesty and ethical practices in every sphere of life for building a society of justice, equity, equality and compassion. Following the debate, he distributed prizes among the champion and runner-up teams.

The event concluded in an atmosphere of enthusiasm with the sincere participation of students from different sections of the college.

A Milestone MoU signed between Academia Global and ACC

Adamjee Cantonment College and Academia Global signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 11 May 2026 to promote academic and institutional collaboration across a broad range of shared initiatives. This partnership envisions a mutual dedication to strengthening global education opportunities and fostering a brighter future for ACC students through institutional collaborations. The MoU also establishes a framework for the students and faculty members with access to world-class higher education opportunities at free of cost.

Under this transformative partnership, students and young faculty members will benefit from three to four foreign university visits annually, application and scholarship support, professional PTE training, access to a global alumni network, and comprehensive study-abroad counseling services. These initiatives will further reinforce ACC’s commitment to developing globally competent graduates.

During the signing ceremony, Major General Md. Maksudur Rahman (Retd.), Chairman of Academia Global, a reputed Consultancy Institution, highlighted the longstanding relationship between the two institutions. In his address, he emphasized Academia Global’s commitment to making overseas education more accessible and secure for the students by simplifying complex application procedures and providing corporate culture training to empower students pursuing HSC, Honours, Master’s, and BBA programs.

On behalf of Adamjee Cantonment College, Brigadier General Md Shahan Sadi, ndc, psc, Mphil, College Principal, signed the MoU. In his remarks, he focused that this collaboration marks the continuation of a meaningful partnership between ACC and Academia Global, opening new avenues for international admission support, and global opportunities for ACC students, which will work in good faith for mutual benefits. He also expressed his gratitude to the Chairman and all individuals involved in making this impactful association possible.

The Inter-House Football Competition- 2026 Held by ACC

The Inter-House Football Competition- 2026 of Adamjee Cantonment College was inaugurated with great enthusiasm and sporting spirit on 7 May 2026 by the respected Principal, Brig Gen Md Shahan Sadi, ndc, psc, Mphil. The tournament brought together talented footballers from different houses of the college and created an atmosphere of excitement, teamwork, and healthy competition among the students. Throughout the competition, the participating teams displayed remarkable skill, discipline, and determination, making the event highly competitive and entertaining.

The final match was held between Bir Shrestha Mostofa Kamal House and Bir Shrestha Munshi Abdur Rauf House on 14 May 2026, where both teams demonstrated exceptional performance and fighting spirit in a thrilling encounter. After a nail-biting contest, Bir Shrestha Munshi Abdur Rauf House emerged as the champions by securing a remarkable 2–0 victory over their opponent, and Bir Shrestha Mostofa Kamal House became Runners-up in the tournament. In the prize giving ceremony, College Principal expressed heart-felt congratulations to all houses and handed over both champion and runners-up trophies to respective houses.

Career Guidance Session Organised by ACC Career Club

The Adamjee Cantonment College Career Club organised Career Guidance Session for students of the Honours, Masters, and BBA programmes on May 13, 2026, at the college auditorium.

The session was conducted by Abir Shawkat Haiat, a Consultant, C-Level Corporate Leader, Writer, and Trainer. The workshop focused on creating awareness among students regarding various aspects of career development, including career strategy, realizing individual potential, balancing risk and career, career satisfaction, the importance of mentoring and coaching, professional networking, preparing for parallel careers, interview skills, retirement planning, and practical career realities.

The event was also embraced by Brig Gen Md Shahan Sadi, ndc, psc, Mphil, Principal of the college. In his address, he emphasised the significance of such career readiness initiatives in developing confidence and self-awareness among undergraduate students before entering the job market. He further noted that these programmes play an important role in helping students prepare for their desired careers and professional aspirations.

The workshop concluded with active participation and enthusiastic engagement from the students of the Honours, Masters, and BBA programmes.

A Six-day Long Motivational Program for all Students (less Class XII) was Arranged by ACC

A six-day-long motivational programme was arranged by Adamjee Cantonment College in the auditorium from 5 May to 12 May 2026 for all students (less Class XII). The entire programme was conducted by a renowned motivational speaker Brig Gen (Retd) Md Abdul Hannan who served in the Bangladesh Army almost 30 years with utmost sincerity, devotion and dedication. The programme was divided into six separate sessions, each designed to inspire and guide students in developing personal skills, exploring future career prospects, and discovering the pathway to success in life. The sessions aimed to motivate students to become confident, disciplined, and goal-oriented individuals.

The concluding session was held on 12 May, where the Principal of the college, Brigadier General Md Shahan Sadi, ndc, psc, Mphil awarded college crest to the guest speaker. He also expressed heartfelt gratitude to him on behalf of the entire Adamjee family for his insightful speech and inspiring guidance to the students.

Adamjee Cantonment College Robotics Club takes great pride in adding yet another achievement to its record of excellence. On 9th May 2026, the club celebrated the remarkable accomplishments of its talented members who carried the flag of Adamjee Cantonment College onto a prestigious platform and returned with honors.

Competing among some of the brightest minds, the brightest stars of Robotics Club proved their capabilities through dedication, technical brilliance, innovation, and passion for IT and robotics. This achievement is more than just a prize; it stands as a testament to how the dreams nurtured within the walls of Adamjee Cantonment College can reach the grandest arenas.

Heartiest congratulations to Khalid Bin Walid (250445, S-2) for securing the 2nd Runners Up position in the Robotics Olympiad, Team Edu-Rag — Ashfaq Sadat (252354, S-11), Khalid Bin Walid (250445, S-2), and Abdul Al Affan (252503, S-11) for achieving 1st Runners Up in Ideacon, and Team Waterlloyd — Jihad ul Islam (252573, S-11), Tawhidul Islam (252492, S-11), and Azrin Zaman Inne (251432, S-11) for securing the 2nd Runners Up position in Project Slowcase. On 8 May 2026, Team C.A.R.E earned Honorable Mention at the Global Robotics & Innovation Consortium (GRIC) among 350+ projects and on the way to qualify for the International Round in Istanbul, Turkey

On 9 May 2026, Team C.A.R.E received a Silver Medal at the World Invention Competition and Exhibition (WICE) among 1000+ participants and qualified for the International Round in Malaysia

Prefectship Adornment Ceremony held at ACC

Adamjee Cantonment College (ACC) adorned the newly selected prefects for the 2025–26 session through the Prefectship Induction Ceremony held on the college premises on 10 May 2026.

A total of 133 students were finally selected from more than 800 applicants for different categories of prefectship including Class Prefects, Club Prefects, House Prefects, and Central Prefects. The selection process was conducted over a month long screening by the selection board under the supervision of the College Principal.

During the Grand Assembly, College Principal, Brig Gen Shahan Sadi, ndc, psc, Mphil, along with the class teachers and club moderators, adorned the selected Prefects with armbands, sashes, and epaulets.

The Principal administered the oath of prefectship to the newly selected prefects, reminding them of their duties and responsibilities. In his speech, he highlighted the finest opportunity of leadership and encouraged the prefects to lead from the front with dedication and integrity. He also emphasized the importance of a sense of belonging, teamwork, mutual respect, and service for the greater good so that the prefects may uphold the legacy and rich tradition of the college.

An Outstanding Achievement for ACC at the 47th National Science & Technology Week and Science Fair-2026 (District Round)

Adamjee Cantonment College has achieved a remarkable success at the 47th National Science and Technology Week and Science Fair 2026, securing the 1st position in the Science-Based Quiz competition among approximately 100 teams. The winning team proudly included Md Imtiz Islam Rehan, President of NASC, and Shafin Al Mahin, whose dedication and excellence brought honor to the institution.

In addition, Sabit Islam Efty (ACCP, NASC) and Md Shafayet Biswas (CCP, RC) earned 2nd place in the project exhibition category, competing against 46 colleges and more than 170 projects.

College Principal Brigadier General Md Shahan Sadi, ndc, psc, MPhil, warmly congratulated all the participants for their outstanding achievements, expressing pride in their accomplishments and for bringing such distinction to the college.
