20 Types of penim Washes:

I. Stone Wash
Pumice stones are used to create a faded, worn-out look with a rough texture.

2. Enzyme Wash
Enzymes break down cotton fibers to give a soft hand-feel, smoother surface, and mild fading.

3. Acid Wash
Denim is soaked with pumice stones soaked in chlorine, creating high-contrast white patches.

4. Bleach Wash
Bleach chemicals lighten the denim significantly, giving a bright, washed-out appearance.

5. Rinse Wash
A simple wash with water to remove starch & soften the fabric; minimal color fading.

6. Sand Wash
Denim is treated with sand or silicone balls for a soft suede-like surface and light abrasion.

7. Whiskering
Faded lines or creases around the hip/ crotch area created with laser or sanding to mimic natural wear

8. pistressed Wash
Heavy abrasion, tipping, tearing, and rough fades applied to give a vintage, worn look.

9. Snow Wash
stones soaked in bleach create a frosty, snow-like textured effect over the denim.

10. Monkey Wash
Random circular faded patches produced using localized abrasion or potassium permanganate.

II, Raw Denim
No wash or treatment; stiff, dark denim m.n its original form.

I2. Medium Wash
Washed enough to reduce stiffness and give moderate fading - between dark and light shades.

13.Light Wash
Denim is heavily washed to achieve a very light blue, soft look.

14. Normal Wash
Regular wash cycle with mild chemicals to soften fabric and give slight color reduction.

15. Vintage Wash
Creates an old, worn-in look with subtle fading and natural wear marks,

16. Sandblasting
tigh-pressure sand is blasted onto denim to create dramatic faded patterns (now restricted due to health risks).

I7. Hydrogen Peroxide Wash
Used as a bleaching agent to lighten denim without yellowing.

l8. Caustic Wash
Caustic soda is used to remove mpurities, brighten color, and increase softness.

19. Dark Wash
Minimal washing, keeping the denim dark while softening the fabric slightly.

20. Moon Wash
Creates a marbled or cloudy look with uneven washed-out patches across the denim.
