আজ ২১শে ফেব্রুয়ারি — আমাদের গৌরব, আমাদের আত্মত্যাগের দিন।
আন্তর্জাতিক মাতৃভাষা দিবস

১৯৫২ সালের এই দিনে ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় এলাকার রাজপথে বাংলা ভাষার মর্যাদা রক্ষার দাবিতে বুকের তাজা রক্ত ঢেলে দিয়েছিলেন আমাদের ভাষা শহীদরা। তাঁদের আত্মত্যাগের ফলেই বাংলা পেয়েছে রাষ্ট্রভাষার স্বীকৃতি, আর আমরা পেয়েছি নিজের মাতৃভাষায় কথা বলার অধিকার।

আজ আমরা গভীর শ্রদ্ধায় স্মরণ করি সালাম, বরকত, রফিক, জব্বারসহ সকল অমর শহীদদের। তাঁদের সেই আত্মত্যাগ শুধু একটি ভাষার জন্য নয়, ছিল আমাদের অস্তিত্ব, সংস্কৃতি আর আত্মপরিচয়ের জন্য।

ভাষা আমাদের মায়ের মতো — অনুভূতির, ভালোবাসার, চেতনার আধার। তাই আসুন, শুধু ফুল দিয়ে নয়, বাংলা ভাষার সঠিক চর্চা ও সম্মান রক্ষার মাধ্যমে তাঁদের প্রতি সত্যিকারের শ্রদ্ধা জানাই।

শ্রদ্ধা ও ভালোবাসায় স্মরণ করি সকল ভাষা শহীদকে।
আমার ভাইয়ের রক্তে রাঙানো একুশে ফেব্রুয়ারি — আমি কি ভুলিতে পারি?
