Parents recently gathered at the for an orientation programme, marking the beginning of a new academic year and an opportunity to connect with the Academy community. 🌟✨

The head of Academy, principals and teachers welcomed parents and provided an overview of the school year ahead, while introducing new faculty and staff. Junior School parents visited classrooms to get a glimpse into their children’s daily learning experiences. Meanwhile, Senior School parents gathered in the library for an introduction to the Academy’s approach to learning, university pathways and opportunities available to students. 📚🎓

The orientation offered parents an opportunity to learn more about the year ahead, familiarise themselves with the Academy’s programmes and better understand the experiences of their children as they begin another year of learning and growth. 🤝🌱

nine out of 34 of our graduates achieved 38 points and above in their DP exams? 🎓📈

Among them is Zabeer Omar Hossain, who earned an outstanding 41 points and will be joining The University of Hong Kong to study engineering (artificial intelligence and data science).

In recognition of his exceptional academic performance, Zabeer has been awarded a full scholarship for the duration of his degree’s programme.

Congratulations to the inspiring graduates of our ! This year, universities awarded students more than $3 million in scholarships, recognising their academic excellence and potential. 🌍🎓

Among this year's outstanding graduates is Shayan Hossain, who achieved an exceptional 42 points in the DP exams. He will be joining The Hong Kong Polytechnic University - PolyU to pursue a degree in civil engineering.

Shayan received a renewable full scholarship, including a HKD 200,000 (approximately $25,500) annual tuition fee waiver and HKD 15,000 (approximately $1,900) stipend per year.

Student bands including Paranoia, Resonance, Geckos and others also brought the stage to life with electrifying performances, captivating the audience and reflecting the diversity of talent within the student community. 🎸🔥

The judges carefully evaluated the showcase and recognised outstanding performances with medals and certificates, celebrating the confidence, dedication and artistic expression of the students. 🏅

Head of Academy Mr Sandy Mackenzie welcomed staff back, introduced new members of the Academy community and reflected on the importance of collaboration, looking out for one another and creating a safe, welcoming environment for all. 🤝📚

Junior and Senior School teachers then participated in professional development sessions on emotional intelligence, exploring the value of openness, self-awareness and intentional listening. Awards recognised excellence across a wide range of sports, while special honours highlighted the commitment, and perseverance demonstrated by students throughout the year. 🏅🌟

Educators, coaches and support staff were also recognised for their dedication to supporting and developing student-athletes both on and off the field. 👏

Beyond medals and trophies, the ceremony celebrated the values that sports help cultivate; discipline, resilience, teamwork and leadership.

Grade 5 students at the brought inquiry to life at the recent PYP Exhibition, exploring the social, environmental and global issues that shape our world today. 🌍✨

From human rights, poverty and child labour to climate change, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and well-being, students engaged with topics that affect communities locally and globally. Their presentations reflected careful research, critical thinking and a growing awareness of how learning can lead to meaningful action. 📚💡

The students also presented their projects to Mr Bobby Hajjaj, State Minister of Primary and Mass Education of Bangladesh, who explored the exhibition with great interest and interacted closely with the students.

To wrap up the inspiring event, students shared performances that reflected their creativity, confidence and voice. 🎭🎶
