ULAB Electronics and Robotics Club

ULAB Electronics and Robotics Club Hello Everyone, This is the official page for ULAB Electronics and Robotics Club (UERC). ULAB Electronics Club (UEC) has started its journey from the year 2011.

UEC started its journey in a different way from Fall 2020 as club name has been changed as ULAB Electronics and Robotics Club(UERC). In spite of being a young club of ULAB, UERC members have achieved a lot of prestigious recognition inside and out side of university. UERC is a platform for the ULABIANS who are interested in learning and working with circuits and robots.UERC organizes different workshops, seminars, tech-talks, events to improve the skill sets of the members. One of the most significant events of UERC is EEE Fest 2019. UERC is like a big family to its members. Our Motto: 'BE ELECTRIFIED!'

ULAB at Bangladesh Innovation Fair 2026!

Inaugurated by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, the fair brought together innovative projects and ideas from across the country at Novo Theatre, Dhaka.

ULAB showcased student-led innovations from both EEE and CSE. EEE presented a Reconfigurable Battery Management System (BMS) for Second-Life Batteries, designed to improve battery management and extend battery usability, while CSE presented Ocean Sense, a research project focused on ocean monitoring and sensing. Together, these projects reflect ULAB studentsโ€™ efforts to develop practical solutions through technology, research, and innovation.

Representing ULAB on yet another remarkable stage. ๐ŸŽ‰

We are incredibly proud to announce that our very own member ๐…๐š๐ซ๐ณ๐š๐ง๐š ๐‘๐š๐ข๐๐š ๐‡๐š๐ช๐ฎ๐ž, an undergraduate student of Electrical & Electronic Engineering at ULAB, has been selected among ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐“๐จ๐ฉ ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ ๐ฉ๐š๐ซ๐ญ๐ข๐œ๐ข๐ฉ๐š๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ ๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐Ÿ•๐ŸŽ ๐š๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐ข๐œ๐š๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ for a prestigious hackathon bootcamp.

The selection process was no small feat โ€” candidates were evaluated through critical thinking and situation-based assessments focusing on problem-solving ability, creativity, decision-making, and overall skill set. Raida's selection is a true reflection of her dedication and capability.

As one of the selected participants, she will take part in a hands-on bootcamp where she will work with a team under the guidance of an experienced mentor, developing complete hackathon projects from ideation and solution design all the way to building and presenting the final product.

And the journey does not stop there. If selected in the final round, she will advance to the international round, competing with teams worldwide alongside globally nominated teams ๐‚๐จ๐๐ž ๐๐ฅ๐š๐œ๐ค ๐š๐ง๐ ๐“๐ž๐š๐ฆ ๐€๐ญ๐ฅ๐š๐ฌ, with an incredible opportunity to visit ๐—ก๐—”๐—ฆ๐—”.

We came. We competed. We gave it our best.

The ULAB Electronics & Robotics Club (UERC) is proud to share that teams from ULAB recently represented ULAB at IEEE SEU SB proudly presents REACT 2026 โ€” competing in the Line Follower Robot (LFR) segment. This time around, our team delivered a noticeably stronger performance and we are proud of the progress our members have shown on the competitive stage.

Every competition is a stepping stone, and REACT 2026 has given us valuable experience, lessons, and motivation to push even further in the days ahead. The bootcamp started at the beginning of this semester, and teams are already giving good performances at the national level. Best wishes to all the four teams.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the ULAB Authority and our respected Vice Chancellor, Shamsad Mortuza Sir, for their continued support and encouragement.

To every student who has ever thought about building a robot, joining a competition, or simply learning something new โ€” UERC is here for you. We will help you prepare, train, and compete. All you have to do is take the first step.

The journey continues.

A journey that began at ULAB and now appears on the national stage.

The ULAB Electronics & Robotics Club (UERC) is proud to share that we have successfully participated in the Fibonacci International Robot & STEM Olympiad (FIRSO) National Round. Also, we are deeply honoured to have received the recognition of Best Club Partner at the event.

This achievement would not have been possible without the dedication of our members and the incredible support we received along the way.
Our preparation began with the Line Follower Robot (LFR) Bootcamp organised by ULAB, guided by our respected faculty ๐—ฅ๐—ฒ๐˜‡๐˜„๐—ฎ๐—ป ๐˜€๐—ถ๐—ฟ, whose technical mentorship and hands-on training gave our team the foundation and confidence to compete at this level. We are sincerely grateful for his time, effort, and belief in us.

We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the ULAB Authority and our respected Vice Chancellor Sir for their unwavering support and encouragement. Your belief in student-led initiatives continues to push us to aim higher.

To every student at ULAB, if you have ever wanted to compete at the national or international level, this is your sign. Competitions like FIRSO are incredible platforms to showcase your skills, represent your university, and grow beyond the classroom. UERC is here to guide you every step of the way, from preparation and training to registration and beyond. You will never have to figure it out alone.

Come build with us. Come compete with us. Come represent ULAB with us.
