EDUCATIONAL VISIT-

The students of BBA Batch-10 from Army IBA, Savar conducted an academic visit to ACME Laboratories, Dhamrai on May 4, 2026.

During the visit, the students were warmly received by Mr. Faisal Ahmed, Director of Production Operations; Mr. Mohammad Tarique Nasim, Senior AGM, Quality Operations; and Major Asif (Retd.), Head of Administration of ACME Laboratories, Dhamrai.

On that day, the students had the opportunity to visit various plants of ACME Laboratories, where they gained valuable practical knowledge regarding pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and operational activities.

The visit provided them with meaningful insights into real-world industrial practices, enhancing their academic learning experience.

Army IBA, Savar recently organized a series of significant academic, professional, and cultural events aimed at enhancing students’ practical knowledge, career readiness, and cultural awareness.
A valuable guest lecture session for the 2nd semester Business Communication course was conducted by Turab Ahsan, where students gained practical insights into job hunting strategies, effective interviewing skills, and real-world professional expectations beyond classroom learning.

In addition, the Army IBA Career Enhancement Club successfully arranged “Careerist On Air – Season 2,” an employee readiness workshop featuring Md. Mominul Ahsan. The interactive session emphasized the importance of professional skills, adaptability, mindset development, and continuous learning, providing students with valuable industry perspectives and a clearer understanding of modern workplace demands.

Furthermore, the Army IBA Cultural Club celebrated the Bengali New Year festival, “Nobopollob 1433,” through a vibrant day-long program that showcased the rich cultural heritage of Bengal. The event featured traditional cultural performances, folk music, a lively Boishakhi Mela, and the iconic Nagordola, creating a festive atmosphere that strengthened unity, tradition, and the spirit of new beginnings among students and guests alike.

The students of the BBA-12 Batch of Army IBA Savar visited the DMCB Training Centre, Mohammadpur, Dhaka, as part of an academic visit.

During the visit, the students were warmly received by the honorable Chairman of DMCB, Abu Zafar Chowdhury, GD(P), psc, Group Captain (Retd.), along with Major General AKM Abdullahil Baquee, rcds, ndu, psc (Retd.), Adviser, and Brigadier General Shah-Noor-Jilani, BSP, ndc, psc (Retd.), Adviser.

The distinguished officials provided the students with valuable insights into the banking operations and activities of DMCB. They also participated in an interactive session where they answered various questions from the students regarding banking practices, management, and the financial sector.

EDUCATIONAL VISIT -

The students of the BBA-13 Batch of Army IBA Savar conducted an academic visit to Akij Food & Beverage Ltd., Dhamrai, on 26 April 2026.

During the visit, the team from Army IBA Savar was guided through various production plants of Akij Food & Beverage Ltd. by Md. Abdur Rahman, Sr. Executive, HR.The students had the opportunity to observe the company’s operational activities, production processes, and management practices firsthand.

At the end of the plant visit, an open forum session was arranged for the students at the auditorium of Akij Food & Beverage Ltd.During the interactive session, the students asked various questions, which were answered by the following officials:
Md. Toslime Uddin, DGM, Aseptic, Snacks, Printing & Windsor,
A.S.M. Shihabul Huda, DGM, Quality Control,
Md. Waheduzzaman, Manager, HR and
Md. Abdur Rahman, Sr. Executive.

The session provided the students with valuable practical insights into industrial operations, quality management, and human resource practices in the corporate sector.
