New Year Beginning: 2025 – A Beautiful Message in Light of Islam

The new year marks the beginning of a new chapter in our lives. From the perspective of Islam, as we start a new year, we should seek forgiveness from Allah for the mistakes and sins of the past year and pray for goodness and guidance in the future. Allah says in the Qur’an:

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُغَيِّرُ مَا بِقَوْمٍ حَتَّىٰ يُغَيِّرُوا۟ مَا بِأَنفُسِهِمْ ۗ
"Indeed, Allah does not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves."
(Surah Ar-Ra’d: 11)

We must repent to Allah for all the mistakes and sins of 2024. Reflecting on the past, engaging in self-evaluation, and learning lessons from it, we should strive to make the days ahead more meaningful. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
مَنْ اسْتَوَى يَوْمَاهُ فَهُوَ مَغْبُونٌ.
"The best among you is the one whose today is better than their yesterday."
(Tirmidhi: 2519)

In 2025, our goals should include:
1. Worshiping Allah alone and increasing our acts of devotion compared to before.
2. Living with a constant awareness of Allah’s presence.
3. Engaging frequently in self-reflection (muraqabah) and mindfulness.
4. Sending abundant blessings and salutations (Durud and Salam) upon the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
5. Actively dedicating ourselves to good deeds and following the path Allah has prescribed.
Additionally, utilizing time wisely, increasing charity, and showing kindness towards others should be important resolutions for the new year.
May Allah grant us all a blessed year and guide us to success in every aspect of our lives. Ameen!

নতুন বছর শুরু: ২০২৫ – ইসলামের দৃষ্টিতে একটি সুন্দর বার্তা

নতুন বছর মানে আমাদের জীবনে একটি নতুন অধ্যায়ের সূচনা। ইসলামের দৃষ্টিতে নতুন বছর শুরুতে আমাদের উচিত অতীত বছরের ভুল ও পাপের জন্য আল্লাহর কাছে ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা করা এবং ভবিষ্যতের জন্য কল্যাণ ও হিদায়াত কামনা করা। আল্লাহ তাআলা কুরআনে বলেন:

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُغَيِّرُ مَا بِقَوْمٍ حَتَّىٰ يُغَيِّرُوا۟ مَا بِأَنفُسِهِمْ ۗ

“নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ সেই জাতির অবস্থার পরিবর্তন করেন না, যারা নিজেদের অবস্থার পরিবর্তন করে না।”
(সুরা রাদ: ১১)

২০২৪ সালের সকল ভুল এবং পাপকে মাফ করে আল্লাহর কাছে তাওবা করা উচিত। অতীতকে স্মরণ করে আত্মসমালোচনা ও শিক্ষা নেওয়া এবং সামনের দিনগুলোকে সুন্দরভাবে সাজানো আমাদের কর্তব্য। রাসূলুল্লাহ (সা.) বলেছেন,
مَنْ اسْتَوَى يَوْمَاهُ فَهُوَ مَغْبُونٌ".
“তোমাদের মধ্যে সেই ব্যক্তি উত্তম, যে আজকে তার আগের দিনের চেয়ে ভালো।”
(তিরমিজি: ২৫১৯)

২০২৫ সালে আমাদের লক্ষ্য হওয়া উচিত:
১. শুধুমাত্র আল্লাহর জন্যই ইবাদত-বন্দেগি করা এবং আগের চেয়ে বৃদ্ধি করা।
২. আল্লাহকে সবসময় হাজেরি (উপস্থিত) অনুভব করে চলা।
৩. বেশি বেশি মোরাকাবা করা ও শুগলে থাকা।
৪. নবী করীম সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লামের প্রতি বেশি বেশি দরুদ সালাম প্রেরণ করা।
৫. ভালো কাজে সর্বদা নিজেকে আত্মনিয়োগ করা, এবং আল্লাহর নির্দেশিত পথে চলা। পাশাপাশি সময়ের সঠিক ব্যবহার, দান-সদকা বৃদ্ধি এবং অন্যের প্রতি দয়া প্রদর্শন করা নতুন বছরের জন্য গুরুত্বপূর্ণ সিদ্ধান্ত হতে পারে।
আল্লাহ আমাদের সবাইকে একটি বরকতময় বছর দান করুন এবং জীবনের প্রতিটি ক্ষেত্রে সফলতার পথ প্রদর্শন করুন। আমিন!

إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَذِكْرَىٰ لِمَن كَانَ لَهُۥ قَلْبٌ أَوْ أَلْقَى ٱلسَّمْعَ وَهُوَ شَهِيدٌۭ

Sura Qaaf : 37.
