Learning Beyond the Classroom | Giving Back to the Community 🌱

We are grateful to the 27th Batch, Marketing Department, University of Dhaka, for choosing to turn a course project into an opportunity to give back to the community.

As part of their Non-Profit and Social Marketing course, under the guidance of Dr. Nasrin Akter, the students collected and sold donated items and are using the proceeds to provide meals for street-connected children.

At School of Ghasful, we truly appreciate initiatives that connect academic learning with empathy, responsibility, and meaningful social action. 💙

🌧️ Another Rainy Day, Another Meaningful Session
Despite the rain, our classroom came alive with smiles and determination. Many of our students joined the session after taking a break from selling flowers, jewelry, or snacks to support their families.
Their commitment to learning, even while carrying responsibilities at such a young age, inspires us every day. We hope education opens new opportunities for them and helps them build the future they dream of.

Today, we were truly honored to welcome Project SHUROKKHA for a meaningful child protection awareness session. Through stories, games, role-playing, and interactive discussions, our children explored the concepts of Good Touch, Bad Touch, personal boundaries, and the importance of speaking up to trusted adults whenever they feel unsafe.
Watching our students participate with curiosity, confidence, and bright smiles despite the rainy weather reminded us that every opportunity to learn and grow is worth embracing.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Project SHUROKKHA team and facilitator for partnering with us to create a safe, engaging, and empowering experience for our children. Together, we are nurturing a generation that is informed, confident, and protected.
